Congratulations ❤!!! My experience, my baby did not cry the first few evenings, but my female dog did. Pacing back and forth in front of the bassinet crying all night long. She cried bc she wanted the baby out of the bassinet so she could snuggle and kiss HER baby. Her motherly instinct kicked in. It is a lovely memory, but brace yourself for crying poms...but in a good way 😊. Mother nature is truly amazing. Looking forward to more family videos ❤!!!

So very happy for you guys! You are obviously going to make amazing parents. I just need to comment on the comments you made about your Ultrasound scans due to your excitement because there are a few misconceptions that are important to address in order to prevent anyone viewing this video from being disappointed. I am doing so as a Sonographer with 30+ years' experience, and because I care. At 6 weeks, the baby hasn't developed limbs that are identifiable on US, and they don't move. On US we expect to see movements from 8 weeks in "healthy" babies. The 12 week scan (which is best done closer to 13 weeks because we now need to assess more of baby than we did in the past-and unfortunately there are a lot of GPs who are not aware of this) is the same whether you opt for a Nuchal Translucency scan, or an early anatomy scan when you have had an NIPT (or "Harmony test"). I think it's very important that pregnant patients are made aware. Also, the majority of pregnant patients will be offered a Glucose Tolerance Test at around 27 weeks to detect Gestational Diabetes. If a patient does have it, they will be advised of the appropriate measures to reduce its impact on both the baby and the gestational parent.

Do not worry about having videos you do need to listen to your body it’s so important and yeah you probably will lose tons of sleep or you could have a great sleeper, not every baby is fussy but y kids were and two out of my 4 Grand-babies were extremely fussy but two were the best sleepers . My Husband and I had our Girls young I was 18 but we raised our girls not anyone else and I think honestly I was meant to have my kids young because at the age 34 my body completely fell apart I developed very serious Autoimmune issues that required very serious Surgeries I’m bolted together, I have a Stimulator running my Spine because my nervous system completely broke down and I have extremely bad nerve pain along with bone, joint , muscle and tissue pain my vertebrae and disks are just disappearing turning to dust . I definitely could not have become pregnant once this happened between Surgeries and Medication not to mention I have mobility issues now as well, so I believe my Higher Power knew I wanted kids so I was given them while I could carry them and care for them properly my youngest was in grade 10 when I really started having issues and now my girls are 27 and 30 they both just had their birthdays in January and the 5 th of this Month . So yes I seem young to have 4 Grandchildren but they are the absolute joy of my life and I will be 48 in July yes I was technically an adult when I had my oldest but I definitely would not ever recommend that anyone have a baby at that age but I’m great full I did otherwise idk if I would have the Family I do today. CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🍾 I’m so happy to the both of you and sending all the positive thoughts and healthy vibes your way .
