Know what you mean with the house feeling empty and loss of routine. Charlie looks well settled in. Tikki Bar look fabulous all lit up. Sounds like a possible rewire especially what Andy found last time in the loft with the junction box and the dodgy wiring in the lounge.

Thanks Phil. Andy found the issue in no time. It turned out to be a combination of dodgy connections in the wall lights ( my fault! ) and a melted terminal block in the workshop. 👍🏼

Really happy for you both ❤ Charlie's absolutely gorgeous and I don't doubt he feels he's found a gorgeous mummy and daddy who will love him. We know exactly what it feels like coming home and your 4 legged pal isn't there for us the house felt soulless and sad. We did the same, we lost our Sammy (male) and got a poppy (female) as just didn't feel right replacing with another male dog. We did the crate thing too works a treat and it's poppies safe place whenever she wants a quiet moment and we also bought one for the car fantastic . Loving the interaction of jean-luc ( who is so funny) and Charlie going to be good pals. Glad to see you have your inner smile back 😊 as Bella ❤ will never be forgotten but remembered now without so much pain with her loss. 🥰 Xx

There is a vacuum when you lose an animal and the only way to move on is with another pet as they are all different characters. Charlie is going to be a great companion and it will be lovely to see his progress. xx

I had a Bella too, a small black lab who passed last November. I cried when you told of your Bella's passing. The emptiness is real. I found my new pup Luna, just last month. It's amazing how dogs add to your well-being.❤ Charlie (#1 and #2 😊😊) is adorable! He has huge feet, I wonder how big he'll get? Will he be allowed to swim in the pool? Have fun!!

Thanks Linda. I'm sorry for your loss. I try not to think about it too much. I took Andy down to see where Bella is resting and started to get all emotional. Luna is such a lovely name. I think Charlie will be around the 40kg ( 88 lbs ) mark. We'll struggle to keep him out of the pool so it's probably better to just embrace it. 😂

Just watching how happy you looked sitting and petting Charlie made me smile. He’s a handsome puppy. Good that you’re watching his weight even at a young age. The breeder of our golden said it’s so important with large dogs not to let them get overweight. They do love to eat. Best wishes with your new boy.

Your tan looks amazing! Tiki Bar is brilliant! I think I really do like the Charlie #2 much better... is that silly? He seems to smile for the camera. Miss Charlie seemed a bit unhappy. I thought, "oh well he'll adjust." but Mr. Charlie seems happy and adjusted already. Glad you were not afraid to go back and get what you wanted. He's a cutie!!!
