We've got ISSUES with the van electrics | Van Conversion Diary Week 21

Welcome to week 21 of our camper van conversion diary of our VW long wheel base Crafter. We’re Cheryl and Steve and were completing a DIY conversion on our panel van.
We haven’t managed to get a huge amount done this week but every step completed is a step closer to Nessa being finished. We’ve got some issues with the electrics and we get the measuring done for the seat cushions.

Hi guys nice to see you both back hard at it on Nessa the Campervan,, I've just bought a 10cm Foam single mattress for my rock n roll bed and was only £65 so you could've gone that route to save a wee bit of money..... Great to see the van coming along and yes agree its a bit cold out there at the moment atb Kev from cardiff

Hi both, Happy New Year (a bit late I know 😆) Are your roof lights 230v? Because Live & Neutral refers to mains voltage or did you mean Positive & Negative as in DC voltage Glad you are on the mend with your back, I have had the same issue since Dec 2022, it took 3 months to reduce in size and get to the stage of being almost pain-free but it has returned this month, Jan 2024. I'm putting it down to the cold as I work outside and have been using a heated back brace, It is a godsend should you suffer the same in the future. All the best X

If you mean the bottom cupboard seat, that couldn't be any lower due to the diesel heater, unfortunately. Hopefully the 10cm firm foam will be just fine 🤞
