I think she might have planned something more for sept 13 but the long time that TTPD stayed in the Billboard top 5 and has a chance to get back on 1 when the Eras tour starts back up. I know it’s fun seeing pictures of them, but their relationship doesn’t exist for our entertainment and we shouldn’t expect photos of a private moments. Their extended families were literally just together 3 days ago in the suite. Dear Molly and Ryan, I am a new, 62 year old Taylor convert, which means that I have a lot of catching up to do ! I really need to find out more about the background of her lyrics, her use of Easter eggs etc. Are there any websites on the internet that you would recommend ? So far I have been listening mainly to the Folklore Long Pond sessions, and quite frankly I am becoming quite obsessed by it. I think it is probably the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life, and the video is definitely the best concert video ever ! Until about one month ago I assumed that the megastar Taylor Swift was simply the product of clever marketing, and the fact that so many of her fans are young girls didn't exactly help. I was convinced that her music was just not for me. It was only after Taylor endorsed Kamala Harris that I decided to listen to some of her music, because I was quite impressed by the words that she used in the endorsement. It only took me one listen to the Long Pond sessions to make me realize how wrong I had been, and to recognize Taylor's genius. Much has been written about the quality of her lyrics (and rightly so !), but what struck me most of all is her rare gift to come up with one incredible melody after another, sometimes as many as 3 or 4 of them in a single song (Seven is a perfect example) - and so I became a senior swiftie literally overnight. Once I decided to find out more about Taylor, I started watching reaction videos, mainly those by G.O.T. Games, because his initial scepticism about Taylor Swift almost immediately turned into immense admiration and enthusiam, and the same is true for me as well. It is thanks to his channel that I found your channel, and I must say: I love your enthusiasm, and your knowledge of all things related to Taylor ! I have already learnt a lot by simply going through the comments to your videos, but maybe there is a more structured, systematic way to acquire some basic Taylor knowledge ? I was so happy for Taylor at the VMAs! They only aired her winning 2 awards, but she took home so many! I personally love both her outfits. The yellow plaid was unexpected, but the corset and skirt/short was very TTPD to me, and I loved, loved, loved her hair down with a slight curl. I also think the cute little babydoll dress with the alien design, was clearly giving down bad, and I'm wondering if she's hinting at a third single/MV from TTPD. The little side flair at the hip was to die for. As for her ghosting most of the show... I'm blaming the camera dedicated to her. It's one thing to be at an awards show knowing the cameras are panning around and you might get caught reacting to something. It's another to have a camera literally at your feet, pointing at you the whole time. Way to ruin the show for her. Of course she got up and left. The same woman who can do an entire outfit change in 45 seconds on tour does not need 45 minutes to get changed at an awards show. And she wasn't gone for over 2 hours in order "to get a drink". No, she was gone for so long because they made her uncomfortable with the unwarranted attention. I saw a comment somewhere from someone saying Taylor intentionally missed Sabrina's award as so to not take any attention from her. My clowning days are over now. I was certain to my bones Taylor would make some kind of announcement the last night in London before the break, like she did with 1989 in LA. But alas, I was wrong. It occurs to me that she hasn't been seen going in and out of the recording studio in months, barring the occasional party. I supposed she will need to record the music before she can release it. 🙂 Until we start seeing her in New York again, I guess an announcement is unlikely.
