The elf boss is about to be a multigenerational crash out

There’s a section with, if I remember correctly, an elf mini boss and like 2/3 pawn elves. They all have that move where they shoot 3 AoE projectiles at the ground that explode on a delay and blind you and the platform you’re fighting on is so small if 2 of em decide to do it at the same time there’s basically nowhere you can stand to dodge em. Cant remember if it’s optional or not but I hope for the sake of my future entertainment that Tony gotta do it.

Ain't even mad you playing on the hardest, infact I'm so happy you are so you can enjoy the combat to the fullest, just make sure u upgrade the rest of the skill tree so you can make it a little easier on yourself. Btw when you use heavy throw with your axe at an enemy, if they become frozen they will take more damage from your fists and kick if you send them into a wall. Excited to watch the rest of the series man.

Couple tips: USE the quick axe throw more (L2+R1). It can be used to stop enemies becoming ‘elite’ whenever they have that blue aura if you hit their head. Can also be used to trip enemies. (You can also use Atreus arrows to stop enemies becoming elite) Knocking enemies that have been frozen by the axe heavy throw (L2+R2) into other enemies freezes them too. Use wall pin to instantly kill enemies. Do this by knocking an enemy into the air with R2 and then hit the enemy on the wall with a heavy axe throw. Unfortunately some the walls are kinda inconsistent so sometimes it will instantly freeze the enemy instead of killing them.

Yeah, Atreus arrows are also pretty useful keeping enemies airborne making it easier to execute the wall pin

My only problem with playing on the hardest difficulty your first playthrough is just that it fully takes you out of the immersion if you’re sweating your ass off on the controller. The story to god of war games is why people play. Before this and ragnarok, it’s always been a rather easy game and this is coming from someone who played all the ps2 games on the hardest difficulty.

Yh I kinda see what your saying cos the story is what got me into this game but it’s the combat that makes me want to keep replaying on the hardest difficulty. But Tony says he likes it like this and makes it all the more rewarding, so each to their own 🤷🏿‍♂️

I feel you, but I tend not to go back through games with a longer story a second time, so I like to play the harder difficulties first and enjoy the challenging gameplay along side the interesting story. It's frustrating, don't get me wrong, but if I like a game it's because I like the gameplay. The story adds more to the experience and rewards the challenge.

Rather, easy is crazy. They are NOT, especiallynon the hardest difficulty. GoW 3 is a sweat fest if you dont have combat mastered, and most gamers wont.

tonyyyy my guy, you doing good learning thing for doing the hardest diff for first time, i beat both games on give me god of war multiple times nd 1 tip i have is focus on killing one enemy at a time, you have a habit of hurting a enemy to low health then completely focus on some with full health while they level up then you have the same amount of enemies you started with all higher lvl than you. ✊🏿

Tony please read the controls and move sets. I'm mad nobody has explained charing your axe. If you hold L2 first to aim and then hold either R1 or R2 then you will charge your axe for a throw. Idk why they said hold at the same time, this is why your axe mostly bounces off when you throw them at enemies. Charge the axe to increase the power to freeze enemies in place. Also you can do running attacks by pressing r1 or r2 while running. Also you can do attacks while dodging. If you dodge then immediately press r1 or r2 you can do a dodge attack thats different depending if you dodge forward or backwards
