We've never had to end a trip this way! The worst conditions ever

This week's video is a bit of a failure but still a interesting watch. The stiflingly heat is just something that the camera can't show, but I'll tell you one thing, next time there is a hear wave warning, I might pay a little more attention 😉
After we got home it rained for 3 days causing mass flooding in this area and we would have been stuck for days!
Big thanks to @flextail for the new inflatable lounge and the new shower, both are well made, easy to use and light weight.

Adam maybe you need to look at the weather before you go and don’t worry about getting a video out just worry about you and the family. We have just got an updated van , with air etc if hot we are staying where we have power,thanks.

Yeah should have looked more closely but I just needed to get off grid and unwind from a new position at work. But gees hotter then the Kimberley before the wet season 🥵

Adam, my daughter went for her first drive at the age of 9, mine you though it was in Silverton in a 4WD automatic, but both of the kids done awesome

I feel for you mate, I’ve camped a few times this summer and the heat has been brutal. At least you had the opportunity to spend time with your daughter. What awning are you running and are you happy with it?

Yeah it was so hot, I'm surprised the old patrol didn't overheat 🤣 its a drifta awning, very happy with it especially because it's the only one that would work with our trailer on the back and that it's 18kg. Just take note of how narrow the side coverage is, but fine for us👍

Don't feel bad about getting out before those big storms. Nothing worse than realizing half way through the night that the awning isn't going to survive the blow. Great video anyway. Always enjoy your enthusiasm.

I would have bailed out too, when home is so close to where you were camping. If you were doing a lap, maybe you would have no choice and just enjoy the positives about the experience. Interesting?

No such thing as a failed trip. Hot and muggy, sure, but failed...never. I really appreciate how you follow your nose with the stuff you bring. Un-swayed by the marketing men.

Yeah we say no to so much free stuff offered to us, but sometimes we find a gem we want to genuinely so people. Such a hot weekend, makes you appreciate the cooler months 🥵

It's call 700 acres, just north of crows nest. Can't believe how hot this summer has been 🥵 hopefully it'll cool down soon and get back to nice camping weather, will definitely have to organise another trip 🤠👍
