I’m looking forward to this, it will be great for me as I love the NES as it’s my favourite 8 bit console and I’m a longtime NES fan so this is nostalgic to me. I will get this eventually as I missed out on the deluxe edition.

been a die-hard nintendo fan since the NES, so I was definitely quite excited for this one! Did not know about the 'your favorite NES game' feature though, that's super cool! (mine would just be Zelda 1, but nice to know all the other games are in the list) picking up the physical edition when it drops next month, for sure!

This feels like NEW Remix but less exciting and more expensive. Like, don’t get me wrong, I’d still jump on it regardless - for like 20 bucks, though. Not what they’re asking. I’ll still avoid fomo but just replaying the NES Remix games when this drops.

What I want to know; is if there is a mode that lets you speed run these games in their entirety and with up to 8 players locally? I ask, because in the last direct; they showed a mode called "Legendary Mode" which they demonstrated and described a speed run the the entire Super Mario Bros 1 game; but by using as many warp pipes as possible. I wanted to know if that would apply to the other games and if it can be done via local multiplayer. I would love to play Zelda and Zelda 2 with other friends and see who can beat it first in a single afternoon.

@@B0redom13 I haven't really attempted to speed run these games under any sort of speed run rules; but for Zelda 2; I can usually beat it in about 2 hours. I think this collection would help me git gud alot better; and can see myself trying to beat personal records.

@@enriquepinero707 Not trying to sound rude here, but you can just get a bunch of emulators to play zelda games with your friends... But I know what you mean! I doubt the full zelda will be included... the expert mode will be the 1st dungeon I believe

@@mhmrules it seems like a fun time for sure, I’ve been a Nintendo fan all my life my first Nintendo system was the Super Nintendo and got a GameCube when it was brand new anyway I’m really sick of fans nowadays complaining about stuff that’s not out or never gonna be out, example people begged for TTYD they remade it, then I saw a large group of people say “ make Mario RPG instead of this” like really you just got a major legacy rerelease! I know that’s a little tangent but I had to say it

So… here’s the way I see it, or my hot take: from what I’m seeing, the average length of each trial (or whatever else they’re called) is 5 seconds… 150 trials total, meaning that there is about 12 and a half minutes of total game play. Let’s round up to 20 minutes because I know some trials are longer. If the actual games had also been included I could see the value here, but as is, I’ll be giving this a pass.

Showing my age but every time I hear someone say "Super Mario BROS" as if it's not an abbreviation, the back of my brain does a little silent scream. I have no idea when this took hold in video game parlance... but it has to be in the last 5 to ten years. Before that it was just understood that Bros. (with the period) is pronounced "Brothers". Same for Princess Peach.... she's always gonna be Princess Toadstool to me.
