When we began our journey to the #CancelCancer campaign with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital earlier this year, we were invited to visit their main campus in Memphis. We decided to record our adventure so you all could see the amazing, groundbreaking work they are doing for children battling cancer and other serious diseases. St. Jude not only provides treatment for these children at NO COST to their families, but they share all of their research with the world in the name of curing cancer once and for all. They're committed to providing everything kids and families need so they can focus on the thing that matters most: getting better and living a healthy life.

thank you i would highly recommend donating to st jude its an incredible place. when my parents went there for the first time the number one doctor in the world for my brothers type of cancer (no clue how to spell it) ran up to them and helped them get where they needed to go. another thing that matpat didnt say was st jude also pays for gas money if you drive. it really is an amazing place

Ive heard of st. Jude before this video. Im a skeptic when it comes to charities but I always thought highly of st. Jude. After seeing the video, im even more optimistic. I kind of wish there was some audit or public availability of their expenses so they can back up their claims with facts. It might exist, but I dont know. Dovakin, all of St. Jude's financials are audited by outside firms and posted at stjude.org. I'm not affiliated with the hospital myself, though several of my friends work there and I know several former patients - all of whom beat cancer and are now adults. It really is a phenomenal place.

Zachery I agree but sadly this research is extremely expensive and for conventional researchers someone has to give them that money and those people are not going to give the it if they don’t think they can get a profit back and this is the sad state science is in right now where everything is being locked behind pay walls and hidden away so that all of these different research teams can fight to try and get the money to do the research which is why non profits like St Jude are so important they are the places that can often get the most done

Unfortunately I'm not in a place where I have a lot (read as none) spare money, but like you I will watch the stream given the chance, and will definitely spread the word to others with more means than me. If there's any charity that should be donated to, this is it. NO child should EVER have to be sick, in pain, or God forbid, pass away. My Brother used to be a patient there. He also has his own tile on the wall right outside the cafeteria going towards the waiting/doctors rooms. He passed away a few years ago, but St. Jude did what they could to help. And thankfully, with the cancer he had, he lived twelve years. I thank them every day for giving me the opportunity to remember and even give me the chance to know my brother. His name was Jonah Barnett, and I'm glad to say he's my brother, even after he passes. And to be able to play in a hospital instead of waiting in the same bed for them to drag you to another test means so much yo a child who is hospitalized. What an amazing thing you guys are doing, and everyone in the game theory community who donated. St. Jude does something good with never really getting anything back. But you seem to be recovering what they do. No words could explain the immense amount of gratitude and how proud I am to be apart of this community. Live in Canada. Healthcare is pretty much completely covered by the government. It always shocks me when my American friends show/tell me how much their hospital bills and etc are. It's CRAZY. Only thing is you gotta be a Canadian citizen.

I couldn't donate very much, but I'm so glad you guys are taking the time to do this. Thankfully, I'm one of the very few who hasn't had a family member pass from cancer. I can't even imagine the anxiety and pain these families must go through. Thank goodness St. Jude can ease that anxiety, if even a little. I will definitely be tuning in for the stream ❤️
