Thank you so much for showing this Martin and Sharon. My mothers cousin died in a Lancaster bomber, along with a Canadian crew. He was a rear gunner, just 18 years old, it was his first flight. Their plane was shot down over Holland and thanks to the kind people in the village near to where the plane was shot down, their bodies were respectfully buried in their village graveyard.

Poignant stuff. Desperately sad, embarrassing even, that even now the leaders of our country spout crap that is so reminiscent of the forces of pure evil these staggeringly brave men and women fought and in some cases gave their lives to defeat. It needs saying...never forget these people and their sacrifice and never forget how those despicable monsters got started. Great vlog.

@butlersempire I guess you are interested in WWII. I go to The Somme most years as I'm interested in WWI. It is staggering how much history their is in that landscape, absolutely moving and profound. I feel apologising when I walk around the many, many, many cemeteries, principally for the mess we have become despite the freedoms those people fought for and gave their lives for.

We really enjoyed the video, it reminded us taking our twin boys to RNAS Yeovilton Somerset 20yrs ago, being time served electrical fitter for MOD I really appreciate and understand the technical achievement from a time without electronics where sheer engineering skills and a slide rule saved the day... Best wishes Tom & Julie..

Enjoyed the video . My Dad would take us often to the one in old Warden in Bedfordshire when I was a child . On mothers day my daughter took me down memory lane to Kennington where I was born . We had pie and mash and visited the emperial war museum bedlam park . My grandmother and aunt got killed in WW2 in the Balham tube bombing there’s a plaque outside the tube station . We moved to Bedfordshire when I was 5 and I hadn’t been back to Kennington for over 60 years it was surreal .

Excellent video both and very respectfully put together with appropriate music. We have alot to thank those brave pilots for. As far as ghosts and spirits go, you’ll believe in fairys at the bottom of the garden next 🤣🤣

Great video- looks like another long day out for me as you have highlighted another point of great interest. Your grandchildren are a delight too, very well behaved and it was a pleasure to see. As yet I haven't seen the answer to the holes in the stone- I don't have one either but just a thought, I wonder if it was volcanic and cooled with gasses passing through the holes or sedimentary and the same thing- gasses passing through as it compressed into stone? Just an idea as I am no Volcanologist or Geologist. Fab stuff and I think this was one of the best vlogs yet.
