Similipal National Park derives its name from the abundance of red silk cotton trees growing in the area. It is the 7th largest national park in India. Staying here is an experience, unmatched. The boutique property of Aranya Niwas not just gave us luxurious vibes but was also at a close proximity to some of the most gorgeous surrounding landscapes and views. Two days weren't certainly enough for us, but watch Jinal Inamdar's travelogue as she brings you the best from her two days at the property and around.
Prices at Aranya Niwas:
Riverside cottage INR 5600/- including GST, breakfast complimentary for 2 Pax
Meadow Suite INR 6160/- including GST, breakfast complimentary for 2 Pax
Family cottage 6720/- including GST, breakfast complimentary for 2 pax.

@shivam gupta If u enter from Baripada city(Dist- Mayurbhanj, OD) side then u can stay in Baripada, which is 1hr way from Lulung entry gate( similipal gate) or u can stay in Lulung with classy cottages. If u enter from Jashipur City (main gate to similipal) side there is 3 affordable hotels over there, or u can stay in cottages placed in the core of similipal jungle, named Jamuani Cottages. The most important thing is U have to rent a vehicle either from Baripada or Jashipur( vehicles like Bolero, scorpio, mahindra Xuv, range rover etc). Because small vehicles suffers a lot in similipal jungle. A rental vehicle may cost 5k-6k bucks from Baripada, where 3k-4k bucks from Jashipur. U have to stay one day before your visit, because there is some minimal formalities like gate pass, permission grant. Baripada tourist info. Centre is in Bhanjpur( 2km from Baripada bus stand, 6km from Baripada station). Jashipur tourist info. Centre is at the market ( 2km from bus stand)

Sad but True.. But one has to accept the truth that everything is temporary so is the Nature because the Population and Greed both are always at its peak. Compare the places like Goa which was known for its flora and fauna, beautiful Villa's, beaches 20-25 years ago which is now a complete Shithole with noise pollution and crowd everywhere. So once these places catch attention then hotel's, resorts, wild party spots spread everywhere destroying the natural beauty

Only if visitors could be more responsible and not destroy and pollute the spots. The locals can benefit from the tourism industry you see.
