I had forgotten how to pronounce Budapest properly, thank u Carmen for teaching us indirectly!😁 It looks like a wonderful and very clean city to visit. It has A LOT of history to take in and the food was off the chain!! I'm a foodie for real so now I have to put Budapest on my list for sure! My mum is from Hungary. The food is fantastic!!! Real gulyas is so different from the horrible rendition that is typically served in the US (same with any paprikas)

That was a terrible way to cook chicken paprikás. You should stir the onions until they are totally soft, take the dish from the fire and add the paprika only then. If done right there is absolutely no need to use an electric blender to homogenize the sauce! Also the pickled vegetables are never eaten in themselves but together with the sausage and bread.
