Hey! Just wanna let you know, our own HAL Tejas has pretty much better roaring engines at both sub and super sonic speed . As both F16 Falcon and Tejas share the engine from the same family but Tejas has got the most recent GE F404. I wish you also attended Aero India 2025 [Yehlanka, Bengaluru] around first or second week of February.

Poland had some Soviet Origin Aircrafts like Mig 21s and Mig 29s when they were part of Warsaw Pact Alliance. But recently Poland is Getting F/A 18s and Eurofighter Typhoons due to the conflict in Eastern Europe. Poland is also increasing it's Defense Budget this Year.

You are spreading false information about Polish military aviation . Poland has not used MIG 21 aircraft since 2004 and F 16 Block 52+ aircraft . There were a few MIG 29 and SU 22 planes left in Poland because the rest went to Ukraine (MIG 29 with modification for NATO weapons). Instead of MIG 29 and SU 22, Poland bought 48 South Korean FA 50 Block 20 . Poland is also waiting for the delivery of 32 F-35 aircraft from the USA . F 16 Block 70 and South Korean KAI KF-21 Boramae aircraft will probably be purchased in the future . All USSR-made helicopters will be replaced with US and EU-made helicopters . No scrap from a fascist country called Russia

HAL makes SU-30 MKI for Indian Airforce. Indian government got licence to manufacture them in India. We are now working on AMCA which will be in direct competition with Russian SU-57 and F-22 Raptor. US even offered Indian Navy their F35 Lightning B Naval version in recently happened Aero India 2023 couple of months back. DRDO have signed MoU with Safron, a French military engine manufacturer for joint development of the most powerful engine ever. Prior to that US' congress was hesitant to transfer Jet engine technology to India, the moment they realised France and India got in a collaboration they offered to transfer the technology within a month after the news. This tells us something.

Poland is actually withdrawing the last Soviet fighters from service at this point, replacing them with Western ones, the waiting time for the implementation of contracts is quite long, Poland has signed contracts for the supply of F 35 and FA 50. MiG 29 fighters with drawn from service are being gradually handed over to Ukraine.

14:56 There goes a lot of thing while procurement of Fighter jets. Poland probably is buying FA-50 (That Korean Fighter actually Amrican-Korean Fighter) 1. Since Lokheed Martin is Involved in production of KA-50 it would be easy for Polish Airforce to Maintain the Aircraft as they have common manufacture. 2. KA-50 have same radar as F16 APG 68 Radars as far as Poland have the F16 Block 40/42 and 50/52. 3. Apart from Radar many other Components are similar in F16 as well as FA 50 as Lokheed was involved in its Development and Manufacturing. 4. By Buying FA 50 Poland won't have to pay extra for additional weapons as F16 i.e AIM9 Sidewinder missile it CANNOT fire Aim 120 now but thats too okay cause poland may be having plenty of Aim 9s. Also can Be armed with Mark 82,83 bombs ; KGGb, GBU 12 same as F 16 . (F 16 is Compatible for more vareity of bombs yhan FA 50 but still a mjor portion is same) 5. INDIA Never Pitched for the Tender at that time. Cause it obvious for poland to go for western jet rather than Indian Aircraft. 6. FA 50 is more Suitable Trainer for F16 than Tejas. It was Developed as A Trainer then developed into Fighter meanwhile Tejas was Developed as a Fighter and Now with some changes pitched as Trainer in Tejas SWIFT (a Variant) Tejas is still under rigorous upgrades so it would be difficult for us to deliver to Poland with a huge order number of 48 even if we wanted to....Recently Tejas Mk 1a is bejng upgraded to carry out operation with Wingman Drones , Swam drones etc ( Basically Network Centric Warfare ) Under Combat Air Teaming System. Its Israeli Radar will be replaced by Uttam GaN (Gallium Nitride) based AESA radar which Recently Tracked (Not Detect but Legut Track) another jet at 160+ km which many never thought it could do looking at its radar cone size which is one of the smallest. This means The Radar is Really very very powerfull. Also testfired ASTRA BVR ( Our Own Beyond Visual Range missile similar to Aim 120 C Missile ) and Python 5. In future it will be armed with Astra MK 2 ( Dual pulse BVR with range of upto 160-180km currently Under Trials by Su30 MKI) , Astra MK 3 ( Under development , Ramjet Powered BVR same as meteor Missile) , Brahmos NG........etc

Poland has all these missiles for the South Korean plane (a special version of the FA 50 is being developed for Poland). Secondly, the price of a flight hour for this aircraft is 50% less than a flight hour for the F 16 . You probably don't know but Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia don't have military aviation. Therefore, other NATO (Baltic Air Policing) countries protect the airspace of these three countries on a rotational basis. The FA 50 plane was bought by Poland to save money and resources of more important and more expensive planes in peacetime.

As Meru said at 14:56 that Poland would have considered buying Indian Tejas...I said if poland would have done so It would have to spend more on Tejas Wepon package or pay extra for Integration of American weapons on HAL Tejas ( HAL in Recent year said it can integrate any weapon on Tejas to customize it according to Customer - It is being armed with Spice Bombs , French Hammer Bombs/Munition Kit , Indian Astra mk1 (Single Pulse 110-120km range) , Astra MK 2 (Dual Pulse 160-180km Range), Astra Mk 3 (Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet powered 280-340km Range ) , Rudraam 1 (Anti Radiation Missile ) , Rudraam 2 ( Anti Radiation missile but with Larger Payload and Fanfe ) , Rudraam 3 ( Hypersonic Anti radiation Missile , Brahmos NG ( Ligther Version of Brahmos Cruise missile - Better Version of Russian P800 oinks with better seaker , propellant which was Successful in evading western air Defences in Ukraine ) , AsRAAM , Israeli Python 5, Indian SAAW missile anti radiation missile , ...... it is Also being integrated into Indian CATS Programme as Mother Aircraft ( You Can Search HAL Combat Air Teaming Systems) So Basically i was Trying to explain why Poland chose FA 50 also Meanwhile explaining the Role of Indian Lightweight Aircraft TEJAS and its Capabilities.... In general if you look Tejas is much more capable aircraft than FA 50 but it is not suitable for Poland as of now..... Hope you get the point.

If India wants to sell its HAL Tejas plane, the cockpit should resemble the latest French military planes, that's my opinion. In addition, it is obligatory to abandon the Russian technology in the armament of this aircraft and adapt it to NATO armament . On the other hand, I doubt that India will get access to Western technologies because it is perceived in the West as Putin's ally.

Talking about Tejas India to be particular wants to be self reliant and get rid of dependence on both western countries and As well as Russia. Almost 88% of Tejas components are developed manufactured and made in India ( In internet the % is stated 59% but it is of 2016 recently many components were changed in tejas ) What we are lacking in India is now good ejection seat on which work has reportedly started waiting for funds to be released. 2nd thing we lack now is a good powerfull and reliable engine. we have worked on our Own Kaveri engine but some how it is only being abled to generate a 68 Kilo NEWTON while it was expected to develop at least 90 Kilo Newton....its Dry Thrust is impressive at 49 kilo newton ( Internet says its 46 but according to latest test in Russia it generated 49 kilo newton) which is even better than GEF04 engines which are used in Tejas for Now....But it lags behind in afterburner where GE F04 produces 78.7 Kn while KAVERI engine produces 68 kn. However this KAVERI dry thrust variant (without afterburner) will be used in INDIAs STEALTH UCAV GHATAK also in other uavs..... Tejas is still underpowered with American GE404 engines. Talking about Western Technology India already plans to Arms Tejas with ASRAAM missiles, French HAMMER ( already integrated and tested) and if possible Meteor before it is replaced by INDIAN ASTRA MK3 (Which is expected to outperform Meteor Missile and would be much cost effective) . French Govt and Indian govt is jointly planning to work on developing new fighter aircraft engines also helicopter engines as India trust no other western nation than French.. But ULTIMATE plan of India for now is to be self reliant while working with western allies and Russia. INDIAN AIRFORCE recently planned to integrate Indian missiles on to French Rafales Aircraft as it is impressed with performance of ASTRA MK1 AND MK2 over its current inventory of European Missiles Except for METEOR missile ( Also ASTRA could be a good hit for export market as it costs 0.6 million per missile against AIM 120 C missile which cost 1.1 million USD even when ASTRA is not even mass produced and AIM 120 C as you know is mass produced. ASTRA MK 2 wit 160-180 km range while is meant to compete with AIM 120D variant)

You would be Shocked to know that 26/11 terror attacks (Basically 9/11 for Indians ) was Carried out using intelligence gathered by American FBI Agent DAVID HEADLY ( You Can Search on internet ) Americans say he deflected but then why American Authorities are reluctant to transfer him to Indian Authorities ?? Also We Indians find West to be very Hypocritical and Unreliable during india china Standoff we didn't get almost negligible support from West and now same West wants us to Cutoff our decades old Relations with Russia , Purchase Expensive Oils and bring burden on our Economy because the war is Taking place on their soil 😐😐 US Left Afghanistan overnight with Tons of Ammunition and equipment which are now being circulated among Terror groups in Region. ALL thanks to Indian Diplomacy and Understanding with Taliban Authorities we are now able to intercept and Avoid Tranger of these weapons to Terror groups operating in Indias Kashmir from Pakistan..... Also we Indians Cannot forget how Americans and West Particularly supported Pakistan during 1971 war by literally sending arms ( Which were Destroyed during Indian Naval Attack on Karachi Naval Base in Pakistan) also entire US Carrier battle group (US Navy 6th Fleet) and UK HMS Eagle Carrier Strike group to Literally raid on Eastern and Western Indian Coast 😳 Thanks To Russian Nuclear subs and air support from Yemen US And UK withdrew from Conflict..... Now tell me How Can India Blindly Support West??? And Rely on them?? Except France which helped us during Sanction after our nuclear Tests

Eurofighter is the best fighter jet among all of them. F16 is a 4++ generation single engine fighter where as Eurofighter is a 4++ generation double engine fighter jet with electronic warfare capability.
