Formlabs is a 3D printing technology developer and manufacturer founded in September 2011 by three MIT Media Lab students. Formlabs develops and manufactures 3D printers and, as a machine partner of Autodesk Fusion 360, we had to make sure to swing by the additive manufacturing hall at IMTS 2022 in Chicago and say hi! @01:08 Had to pause the video and make myself a coffee to spit out again after hearing _that_ comment... Usually when you make _such_ a claim you back it up by being on a similar if not cheaper price point than the competition while still providing a similar *_or_* barely noticeable loss of quality - You don't say this when literally everything you make ( the 3D Printers itself, their Tanks, their Build Plates, the Resins, etc... ) is on average 3-6x the price of the competition and with your Printers now taking about twice as long to print something because of technical limitations. I *_do_* own a Form³ as my only Resin 3D Printer which _does_ its job when I need it to do something my FDM can't do but sure enough I keep thinking twice if I _really_ need it to do that because of how expensive everything is and as such If I were to enter the Resin 3D Printer market today I'd most likely not be buying another Formlabs Product. They're kinda like the Prusa... They may have started the trend kind but lost track at some point while everyone else around them keeps innovating in some form ( heh... 😏 ) or another to the benefit of the End User ( like WTF Prusa... 1'000.- for an i3 MK3S in 2022 and 2'000.- for a still partially 3D Printed XL?! C'mon... 🤪 )

Which SLS printer would you recommend instead of a form labs?

@@roeschdan Can't _really_ recommend something different without owning it for comparison now, can I? 😉 But my current _barely_ educated suggestion would an *_Anycubic_*_ Photon D2_ with its DLP over LCD System as the parts quality printed with it seem to be on par with what my Form³ will spit out at less than 1/6th the price of the printer and 1/3 the price for the Resin.

@@Duraltia I was not challenging you, I was asking it honest question since I am always looking for options. And I am referring to SLS not SLA
