What I love about Blackpool is that it’s a complete magical wonderland when your young. Filled with special memories with your grandparents that you look back on fondly. Then when you grow up, you get to experience Blackpool as an adult, to get the perspective that your grandparents had. Blackpool will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks for all you do guys!

I saw Lily Savage (and Sonia!) on the pier in 1996. It was definitely a formative experience - as an impressionable 16 year old at the time, Lily has got a lot to answer for!

My brother sister and myself used to look out for the tower on our way to Blackpool the first one to spot it got 50p we felt rich lol north pier is our favourite pier too me and my husband will be enjoying a drink or 2 in the open air bar it's a great sun trap we love it

Happy memories, Gren! 50p for spotting the tower? It used to be sixpence when Tim were a lad. We used to do it when we drove over to Blackpool but Colin always tries to cheat by distracting Tim when he knows the tower is coming up! 😁😆🤣

Tim used to think Duncan Norvelle was hilarious, Colin not so much. Tim once saw him Live and he was a good impressionist but you never saw that part of his act on telly. ☺️🌞🏳️‍🌈
