That bottlecap thing it the seal. It is broken. Part of the frame needs to be replaced. There is a black cone that covers the bottle cap.

My husband used to buy Florsheim kangaroo leather dress shoes. I think they cost around $300 at the time (1980's to '90's).You could send the shoes back to Florsheim and they would re-work them for you. They came back looking brand new. They were expensive dress shoes for business. My husband was in sales and standing on his feet at trade shows for hours so he needed good, comfortable shoes. Stampin' Up stamp kits used to be expensive to purchase. I spent a lot of money on their stamp kits but the quality was always good. You may have their stamp kits where you have to cut out the rubber stamp designs and mount them on the wooden blocks. You can clean the rubber stamps with baby wipes. Takes the ink right off and doesn't harm the rubber. That's how we used to clean the stamps when making greeting cards.

All older lava lamps I've seen have that bottle cap. Yours seems to be missing the plastic cap that covers it.

Look for Lava Lite stamped on cap, looks like a soda bottle cap. Those are Made in USA before China made ones. We have a nice collection of vintage Lava Lites. Oozing Goo is a good site to learn about them, the UK ones are very collectible too. Karen and Larry look great 😊

I found one of those dog beds on the curb and made it our outside dog bed. Our Basset Hounds love it and like to use it on the back porch, I guess because of the airflow through it. You got some really cool stuff in the mail. Thanks!

I really like you guys. And I totally understand needing to create a title for a video that is enticing (clickbait) to gain clicks but as a re-ish reseller, it makes me a little sad to see people like you guys who I believe are legit great people, putting out videos with titles like this because it doesn't feel honest. The real real is that NO ONE walks into Goodwill and makes hundreds. EVERYONE can walk into Goodwill and get some things that will sell on eBay or other reselling platforms but there is TON of work in between that those trips into Goodwill and the hundreds of dollars that potentially get made and the word POTENTIALLY is super important here. I hope this comment doesn't come off as rude or disrespectful. I just wish KZbin resellers would be more honest about the process and hard work that it takes to make those hundreds. Still love and appreciate you guys.

I work at a nice thrift and I just purchased 2 leather bags for $4. Duluth trading backpack and Eddie Bauer laptop. Value is around $150 on both, but I was familiar with the brand and value

I have noticed at the GWs in my area only put out 1 shoe when your talking about brands like Nike, Adidas and other popular well known brands to deter theft. So if you run across only 1 on the shelves you might want to speak with a manager to see if that is what they are doing. I also realize that somone might have moved it as well. GWs in different regions have different ways of doing business as I have seen vast difference bewteen those here and the one I stopped by in Chicago.

I found it very entertaining to watch your videos until I realized what it is you KZbinrs are doing to the business. You are destroying it! Now, even all the Good Will, Salvation Army, and all of these places have people in the back comping the items and charging an arm and leg for junk. I've been all over South Florida, and even poor people can't afford them places anymore. It's over, and now there are no places to source in my region. If you think all of this exploitation hasn't had an adverse effect on all of us, you're wrong. But, what does it matter when you probably make more money from your videos than selling in eBay? Say what you want. Come back at me with whatever remarks you want. But if you are honest with yourselves, you'll know it's true.
