The series surprised me pleasantly. I expected much more boring and slow story with a lot of monarch bureaucracy. And I got an exiting journey with action, drama, lore and titans (an outsider perspective will always be awesome). All scenes with titans make me hold my breath every single time. I love the natural progression of the bond between Kong and Suko. Even with that "I'll beat a motherfucker with another motherfucker" moment. And the fact that Jia was prophesized as a hero who can rouse Mothra from her slumber is amazing, same with her meeting other members of her tribe. Also, I not only love the "Aw, shut up" punch on the ape annoyingly running his mouth a few seconds before Kong met Skar King, but the part where Kong lobs a rock and creams the one ape in the head. 😆🤣 Fun fact: Dan Stevens also played The Beast in the remake of Beauty And The Beast.

Godzilla was like a giant cat peacefully resting in his bed. He had a special fondness for Rome because it reminded him of his old lair, which was not only a perfect place to rest but also a rich source of radiation. Unfortunately, humans destroyed his lair, leaving Godzilla a king without a kingdom. Thus, he returned to Rome to find solace. The idea of Godzilla sleeping in the Colosseum came from one of the developers, who was reminded of their own cat. After all, if they fit, they sit! Poor Kong; I just wanted to give him a big hug. Suko was quite troublesome, but he redeemed himself in the end. A little kindness goes a long way.

I’ve commented this in a separate reaction video but I’ll elaborate it here. I love how it seems like Godzilla actively doesn't want to be here. He spends the whole movie getting stronger so he can end the fight as soon as possible and go back to bed. He HATES Kong and all the wacky adventures he goes on, and is guilt-tripped by Mothra into helping him. He's an unwilling participant in his own movie and its kinda hilarious That look he gives Kong at the end after Kong smirks at him is, “If it wasn’t for Mothra, I’d have left you for dead with a smile on my face. I had to beat on 3 women today (Scylla, Tiamat, Shimu), and being associated with you has been my lowest moment”

Skar had ptsd when he heard godzillas roar because skar remembers Godzilla absolutely embarrassing his entire clan and him with shimo lol even though shimo and Godzilla were ancient allies dating back 3+ billion years ago since shimo is 3 billion years old and Godzilla is about 7+ billion years old, shimo met Godzilla 3 billion years ago, and became allies, but after a while Godzilla didn’t know who she was anymore because they got separated from one another, and yes shimo is a sub-species of Godzilla, and no space Godzilla isn’t a different entity of Godzilla, that is actually our very own Godzilla himself, which in the next sequel of gxk Godzilla will turn evil and transform into his most powerful form yet; Space Godzilla with huge crystals on his back with his dorsal plates all pure white and grey hidden behind the white his scales and skin will be either purple or red here, mixed with his space Godzilla form, but he will need to be in his most powerful form yet to kill destoroyah which is his nemesis, much more than ghidorah, destoroyah and Godzilla had really really ancient battles, it was always 60/40 in favor of Godzilla but they were both equal in power and threat lvl since Godzilla is an alien and in his most powerful form yet and yes I mean YET I won’t spoil any of his future forms, but think how did Godzilla not even break a bone or even be hurt when he was dropped around 75,000ft from ghidorah and ghidorah could barely lift him, it was shocking to see ghidorah lift him, since Godzilla could easily lift him and Godzilla easily as well could knock ghidorah down, but back to the Godzilla not even hurting when he got dropped like an atom that was about to explode because that was what was about to happen, but he didn’t feel anything and because fine I will let you guys know about his final form and yes he will have wings because he use to have wings but lost them I won’t tell you how he did, let’s just try he was born 7+ billion years ago and he was born with wings and he was an alien so he could survive on pretty much any planet or galaxy in no demand, and when he lost his wings he landed on the big round sphere known as earth and has been its original harbinger of nature and order and he’s the one true king of all monsters since he had that title since he was practically born, so his duty is to make sure none of his allies from his earth armies aren’t disrupting the natural order or balance, if so and Godzilla gets impatient with them, after numerous warnings, Godzilla will then make an example outta them. I will tell you another thing about Godzilla, he is very impossible to kill practically the one object or weapon that could potentially weaken or even kill him, COULDNT!!! It only weakened him a bit, and I say a bit he wasn’t that weakened by the oxygen destroyer, so basically saying the only weapon in existence that can weaken or even kill Godzilla is basically a under statement, since no weapon can kill Godzilla or weaken him that much.

Tim, you keep asking where all these Titans are coming from. In King of the Monsters, it was the year 2019. At the time, Monrach discovered 17 and counting after Godzilla. Now in Godzilla x Kong, the year is 2027, and there is a shot on a monitor where it confirms Monarch has discovered 245 Titans now. We don't know who they are yet. This could be crucial for Godzilla x Kong 3. Lots of potential for this universe.

This was my favorite one so far. Saw it three times in theaters. My wife and I loved the heart in the film and the new characters were great (monsters and humans). Glad you guys enjoyed this one. Great reaction! EDIT: Also, Gidorah woke up most of the Titans. And Hollow Earth isn't just one big empty space. It's lots of enormous areas. So there being even deeper places makes sense.

This movie is the best one!! Finally fights that aren't completely in the dark and also murdered by editing, good human stuff but the monster stuff they let the characters carry themselves I'm so happy about that. The longer bits without dialogue wete honestly awesome. Sad they're going with another director

Fun fact: The in Universe reason Godzilla Sleeps in the Colosseum is because it reminds him of his old home The Underwater Temple in Godzilla King of the Monsters which was destroyed during his resurrection in the movie.
