You should watch the behind the scenes. The post movie seance part was how they did a test run of what they were going to make the movie. The guy playing teddy actually got set on fire for real and there are a bunch of other things they did that were risky but made this an amazing piece of work.

Wow, I'm actually kinda surprised they hated it cuz it received critical acclaim from critics and generally positive from audiences.
