Fun fact. In the play that was going on when Thor returned to Asgard, Thor was played by Chris Hemsworth's older brother, Luke Hemsworth. Loki was played by Matt Damon.

Hulk and Banner are two entirely separate personalities. Hulk is not just 'blindingly angry Banner' he is a different thing altogether. The reason he sounded like a child in this movie is because he was in Hulk form for 2 years - so naturally Hulk would sound like a 2 year old child

Valkyries are Asgardian Shield Maidens who led those who died in battle to Valhalla. Which is where the fallen spent their afterlife. In the Thor comics it was Brunhilde a blonde Valkyrie. In the MCU you see her briefly appear in the Valkyrie fight with Hela. She sacrificed herself to save her fellow Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson. Her sword is known as Dragonfang. Her pegasus was named Aragorn a meta reference to Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. 😊 The plural form of Pegasus is Pegasi. 😅

There is no plural form of Pegasus. Pegasus was the name of a winged horse from *Greek* mythology. It was never the name of a species. The Valkyrie ride winged horses, but they aren't called "pegasuses" or "pegasi". Changing the "-us" ending to the "-i" ending is a way to make *Latin* words plural. But it's not a Latin word. This is *Norse* mythology, and uses a completely different language. They would simply call them "winged horses" or "flying horses" in the ancient form of Norwegian. And this is another one that I've been looking forward to you two getting to. 😊 This is my absolute favorite of the Thor movies. Fantastic cast. And the additions of Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, and Cate Blanchett as Hela was perfect casting. Fun Fact #1: About 80% of this movie was improvised. Including my favorite scene between Thor and Loki, the "Get Help" scene improvised by Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston. Fun Fact #2: Thor’s line "he's a friend from work" was suggested by a Make-a-wish kid who got to visit the set. Both Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi loved that line so much that they kept in the movie. Fun Fact #3: Director Taika Waititi is the voice for Korg. Loved the Doctor Strange cameo scene. Loki's "I've been falling for 30 minutes" is one of my favorite scenes. LOL! We see in this movie what happened to Bruce Banner/Hulk after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron". And I felt like the last few minutes of the movie was a good turning point for Thor’s and Loki's relationship as brothers. Up Next another one of my favorites: Black Panther Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊

100% agree with everything here. The very best of the Thor solo films. Excellent guest stars, nice to introduce Valkyrie. Cate Blanchett played Hela like a boss. Goldblum is always a hoot. *** Spoiler *** As far as a possible Thor x Valkyrie relationship, this might be a bit of a spoiler so I am hiding it down here. They don't do a very good job of explaining it in this movie but Valkyrie is LGBTQ+. The scene where you see her flashback to the massacre of the Valkyries at the hands of Hela, you see a blonde woman jump in front of Val to save her from a flying sword. That is actually her wife, Brunhilde who sacrificed herself to save Val. They do a poor job of representing this but the writers and director all said this was the intention and more detail got cut.

There is a deleted scene *SPOILER* from Endgame, I believe, where Thor is trying to kiss Valkyrie awkwardly when he's leaving New Asgard to her, while Rocket is waiting for Thor to get back onto the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship. I think Feige had other plans for Thor's relationship in Love & Thunder...

My favorite funny moments are Loki falling for 30 minutes, Thor’s hilarious scream, Korg saying “piss off, ghost” then kicking the wall, Loki getting his revenge saying “that’s how it feels,” and Bruce’s voice changing with his veins turning green when he said “made me a little weird.” Fun fact: Taika Waititi the director of this movie also portrayed Korg.

In the first Thor film, they mention wormholes. In Thor: Dark World, during his battle with Malekith, they would pass through wormholes. After Age Of Ultron, Hulk and the jet he was on passed through one and ended up on Sakaar, the junk planet. Scientists theorize that wormholes are all over the universe and can someday be used for space travel.

8:11 in the actual mythology hel (hela in the movie) isn’t odins daughter she’s actually lokis, and she’s not evil she’s just the goddess of Hel (the underworld)

Hela is Loki's daughter in norse mythology so maybe thats why they decided to make her look similar to him. Also the wolf, Fenrir is Loki's child aswell so Hela's sibling in the mythology

This movie is in my top 3 mravel films but also I love this one cause when infinity war came out my brother visited me beforehand and we wanted to watch one random marvel flick to get us in the mood for the premiere this night and we picked this one cause we felt like it and turned it off after the post-credit scene of Thanos ship appearing before them. It was so surreal to then drive to the theatre sit down and the movie picks up RIGHT where we left 30 minutes ago, it was amazing

What elevated this movie was the direction by Taika Waititi, who was also the voice of Korg. If you’ve not watch Jojo Rabbit, this is a must see also directed by him.

Skurge is famous for the double assault rifle thing. The guy has access to all those crazy Asgardian weapons and chooses to do that. He did the same thing in the comic books.
