The thing is people always talk about caravan holidays as if they're dirt cheap, and during term time you can get a week in one for about £180, but if you go in the summer holidays you're looking at like £800+ for a week, and you've still got to travel there, and travel about (they tend to be in the arse end of nowhere because they need a lot of space), pay for food and days out. And butlins is even more expensive than that...
