But as i grew older, i realized that not only was Squidward the reason why they ended up in the kelp forest all because he ignored Spongebob and Patrick, but he was STILL being a grouchy, selfish, entitled jerk to the two and even taunted them with food. So in a way, Squidward did kind of deserve it. He got a taste of his own medicine of being denied food the same way he did to Spongebob and Patrick.

"The Algae's Always Greener" is one of my favorites. Also, when Plankton said, "A rolling stone gathers no algae," that's the underwater version of "A rolling stone gathers no moss." I'm also guessing that being a lifeguard at Goo Lagoon is a part-time job for Larry. By the way, kelp forests, like the one in "Club SpongeBob," are a real kind of undersea habitat (we see another one featured in the point and click adventure game Employee of the Month). Oh, and the place Patrick was trying to go to at the end of "My Pretty Seahorse" wasn't the stable he was supposed to build for Mystery, it was the hat shop SpongeBob and Mystery visited earlier.

This is the most consistent season in terms of quality content. I know the future seasons don’t have as much, but it’s up to you two to decide if you want to continue after this season. The guys of Quirky Quota have been doing that, so it’s okay to keep going after this season.

Season 3 is my personal favorite season, and it was worked on between 2000 (when it was greenlit) until 2002, the year the movie started production. If anyone recalls, after S3 Episode 13, we waited 2 years for the last 7 S3 episodes to be released since the show was one of Nick’s main shows and still is. While other countries got them early. Also, I think S3’s the best looking of the show at the time since SpongeBob didn’t look desaturated in season 2. Season 1’s style I preferred over season 2.

This is the last of the best seasons. The first 3 and the movie were Stephen Hillenburg's work. He wanted to stop to avoid jumping the shark. That's why, in his perspective, the movie is essentially the finale and I support that. Although, most fans agree seasons 4 and 5 are the silver seasons. They do have some good episodes.

The last truly great season, lets go! Woohoo! 3:06 Considering "One Coarse Meal," an episode I highly recommend avoiding, I always thought that when Plankton said "Shes as big as a whale!", I thought he didnt realize that she was an *actual* whale and thats why Plankton being afraid of Pearl made sense. 12:23 I forgot that was what the mascot suit for Spongebob looked like back in the day! This was probably for one of the Nickelodeon Resort and Spa locations. You can find Spongebob in American Dream now! 24:45 I have to agree, but SB-129 was already an existential nightmare, I dont exactly interpret this episode as a religious metaphor. Rather, I think its simply hope being answered through faith
