To me, this is the best one because it was the one where I cared most about the characters. I'd get kinda upset when one of them died.
@scorpionkobra5 ай бұрын
Exactly. I'm still rooting for FD2 cast whenever I watch the movie. There is a hope in FD2. But in FD3, it's a quite opposite. I dont care for neither of them (except Kevin). This one is the lightest of the franchise compared to other parts.
@onetallpheeesh5 ай бұрын
I maintain to this day that FD2 has the best cast, vision, and the best death scenes but FD3 has the more charismatic characters, the best Protagonist of the franchise, and equally exciting kills. I don't go to Carnivals and Fun parks often enough to be afraid of rollercoasters, but I FEAR SEMI TRUCKS because of this one.
You know a movie is crafted well when you care about the characters

The guy whose eye got punctured's death is a lot creepier than it shows. By the hint of the magnets spelling out "EYE", it mean death had already set that as it's new plan for him. Which means that it put him through all the terror of getting his hand stuck in a sink, nearly getting blown up, and then *almost* lose an eye, finally feeling a sense of relief and safety after nearly dying multiple gruesome deaths, only for death to say: "Sike!"

Fun Facts: •Originally, Devon Sawa was to reprise his role of Alex Browning in this film, but a dispute concerning his contract with New Line Cinema could not be settled. So the had to write him off. •Originally they had use real logs for the opening catastrophe, but they didn’t bounce enough for that scare effect, so they used CGI logs. •The car Evan drives is A 1987 Pontiac FireBird •The Accident on the highway was based on a real Pile Up that happened on Interstate 75 in Ringgold,GA on March 14th, 2002 with a total of 125 car piled up. • Alex’s demise was gonna have him die from a flesh eating bacteria but went with the brick instead. •When Nora tucks Tim in at night, dimming the lights, his face is illuminated with a skull outline, foreshadowing his death. •There is a myth that when a bird hits your window, somebody you know is going to die. •Nora's death is based on a real life incident: Dr. Hitoshi Nikaidoh, a surgical resident at a Houston hospital, was decapitated by a malfunctioning elevator in 2002. The doctor's shoulders were pinned by the doors, which then allowed the ceiling to slice off most of his head as the elevator continued to move upwards. •According to the book, the fire that kills Clear and Eugene was originally started by a birthday cake. There’s a lot of stuff from this movie and the other movies I’ve looked into and I’m glad y’all are watching it and can’t wait til y’all watch the rest of the movies.

Facts is a synonym for true, goober. Sawa has debunked the contract dispute rumor and the writer has said he never planned for Devon to come back. The very first version of the script all the way until what we saw on the screen always had his character dead. The movie was written in 2001 and filming started on feb 2 2002. They were already 6 weeks into filming when that accident happened. It was completely unrelated. The film was released on January 31, 2003. The elevator death certainly wasn’t based on someone who didn’t die until August 16 2003. The movie was already out of theaters for 6 months when she died.

It really brings the whole franchise together in a cool way. Unfortunately I do not believe these two survived. Not because of the non canon newspaper in Final Destination 3, but because what Kimberly did, Alex did in the first movie. Alex saved Clear from the car and explosion and stopped breathing, but they revived him. Then Death attacked him in Paris before settling for Carter and eventually killing Alex with a brick. Now, had Kimberly had a baby by Burke, I believe the list would've been destroyed.

Canonically these 2 are the only survivors of the franchise, that is if you ignore FD3's DVD extra where it's revealed they died in a woodchipper accident. From this point on all the movies star different set of characters. P. S. FD3 used to be regarded as mid(just above FD4 in rankings) but nowadays it's beloved.

This Has To Be My Favorite Movie Of The Whole Franchise! While The Acting Isn't The Best At Times, The Deaths Were Creative But Also Somewhat Realistic, I Actually Care About The Characters Like In FD1 Because Of Their Personalities, And That Opening Scene! The Survivors In This Are Said To Have Been Killed In FD3 Due To A Newspaper That Can Be Found In The "Choose Their Fate" Extra On The DVD Version, But I Honestly Don't It As Cannon Since You Have To Change The Fate Of The Survivors In FD3 To Even See The Newspaper Clearly. Amazing Reaction, Hope To See More!

Honestly, the concept behind this sequel was fantastic and a great follow up to the original. The seven survivors of flight 180, indirectly caused more people to survive disasters, adding them to deaths growing list. This ripple effect was genius. The longer you stay alive, the more your hurting others around you if you aren't meant to be alive. This concept could have easily have been added throughout all sequels and really added tension to the rules. Because as we see by death working backwards here, the rules are the same, but new strategy is now being used. Truly, that alone could have worked great in new installments. But sadly, it's dropped here and never touched upon again in the each three films. Shame, honestly.
