Your character is magical in that it helps heal/mend everyone who has been afforded the "shear" enjoyment of watching you and the family work on the farm. I am also disabled an unable to get out much. I’m life limited so at 44 in looking at years left rather than decades depending on progression speed and and other complications. I *love* watching Sandi (and Cammy) and following the sheep on their various journeys. Back when I could work I spent a lot of time farming ‘adjacent’ as I worked with horses and on stable yards that had links to farming or enjoyed farmers for neighbours. I have lovely memories of the occasional run ins I had with the sheep the yard owner I last had while riding competitively for a living also farmed and through following my two favourite farmers on KZbin I have learned lots more about the sheep and the behaviour they showed. I also just love following people who can do lots of things I can’t (when walking is on that list I’m not short of options 😂😂)! It is lovely to see I’m not alone in my love!

THANK YOU for helping to keep so many of us be a part of the world. As a disabled person I so miss getting out and gardening, helping family with their livestock or simply having a friendly voice taking us along and in many cases teaching us about what you have experienced and learned over the years of raising sheep. I am a great granddaughter and granddaughter of multiple generations of farmers and sharecroppers so have heard so many stories of what they went through living in the mountains of southern Kentucky in a very rocky, poor area and then the trip to Oklahoma Territory to participate in a land run and learning what farming and ranching is like in their new home. The current generations have moved away from farming on the large scale but still raise our own personal gardens and if we have some land we have livestock too. Keep doing what you are and we will all be happy to go along.

Bernice's comment brought back the memories of when we were going through worrying about our grandson. Our grandson is a cancer survivor. It was such a scary time for him and his family. Thank God for Ronald McDonald House where the family stayed during his treatments. He was only 6 years old when they found the tumor on his brainstem. He had to under go the chemotherapy after the surgery, which was a blessing and a curse. His cancer was gone but so was his hearing. It was due to where they had to do the chemo. He is now almost 40 years old with no regrowth of the tumor. So I do understand what you are going through with Jess. You and your family are so beautiful and strong. My heart goes out to you and your family each time you need to deal with the appointments and the doctors and everything else. I love your videos of the sheep. They have made me laugh so much when the lambs look up at you and know that they have your heart. You can almost read their minds, thinking they can get what they want, especially the sweet bottle babies! I love the Golden girls! They are so special. Never let anyone say anything negative about not taking care of those special ladies! And never, ever take any of anyone's negative comments about how you care for your flock seriously! Unless they have a sheep farm, they have no clue how difficult some decisions are. Even if they are shepherds of a large flock, everyone's situation is different. You live in a very cold area and have made choices accordingly. Your sheep are beautiful and well cared for. You are a beautiful, strong woman and you care for each every single sheep that is born in your barn and all of their mamas. This has really gotten longer than I intended, but I hope that you know how much I admire you through all of this long convoluted text. Bernice's comment made me cry because I remembered all of the stress of my grandson and my daughter's other children. There was two younger girls, one was 4 and the other was 2. They were worried about the girls having cancer but they didn't. I have been a fan of your videos for a while. I know are very soft hearted and you have taken some of these negative comments into your heart. Please try not to do that. I know that is very hard to do, but sometimes people don't understand what you have to do to make sure that your family and your sheep are well cared for. Besides some people are just mean to begin with. So don't take them seriously. I have read a lot of the comments on your videos and there are a lot more positive, loving comment than there are the negative ones. We are here for you. Much love, Janet Sorenson.

I found your channel as I started my recovery from my second round with breast cancer, almost a year ago now. Your videos have certainly made my journey easier. Yesterday we learned my husband's father has stage4 inoperable cancer in his throat. We're sitting together as a family right now waiting for the doctors to come in to start the palliative care planning session, watching this video laughing and loving together over Nugget demanding his milk! None of them have seen one of your videos before, nor have any of us have anything to do with any aspect of farming. But they were very drawn to your warmth, love and caring shown to your animals as they listen to me explain who the Golden Girls are, and how you're building a retreat cabin on your own farm as you can't take time off to go away. (They think that's very sensible.) Not sure if you've gained any new subscribers, but you've certainly lifted the spirits of all of us (16 family members) as we wait.

Sandi thank you for sharing all that you do. You help me get away from my current situation. Sheep are cathartic for me. Cancer is a nightmare. And watching someone in pain takes its toll on me. Enjoy each day.

Sandi you are my hero. I am 70 yrs old and I admire all that you are, all that you do and for sharing your vulnerable side. I started out with 2 rabbits and I now have 40. No reason other than they give me joy. I have learned that its okay to not be perfect, but just love what you do and keep trying to be better at caring, for my rabbits and for others. I do not have a farm, but I love feeling like I do. You give me that. I feel like I have learned from you. Keep being you.

You hit the nail on the head when you said watching your videos can be an escape. That is exactly what I looked for on chemo days! Even now, dealing with chronic pain post cancer/chemo, watching your videos makes me able to ignore the pain for just a little bit. I get so excited when I see a new video pop up, start watching the vid and then I keep watching the red bar creeping to the right, not wanting your video to end! Another positive is my 8 yo daughter loves watching your lambing vids with me, bonding time! Since I can't physically farm anymore(goats, rabbits) I do so vicariously through you, Sandi. Thank you for your dedication to your animals and also your dedication to all of us out here who immensely enjoy your videos. I know you miss sleep, time with your family, etc to film, edit, and post all your content!

Sandi, you can be a true icon to the female of today. You and your husband's worth esthetics are very admiral. The true courage of your daughters walk in which so many have much less courage and support. Yet your family still has the time for others and encourage them to have hope. You are a true blessing to us that travel down this road with you. God's blessings on you and your family.

Hi Sandi.. I've been watching you farm and how good you take care of your sheep. I want to share with you what i have learned in since i lost my left leg to a deadly infection. I've learned you never give up and you never surrender no matter the how bad the pain is. You can't worry or take to heart what someone tells you your doing wrong. No one has the right to judge you until they walk a mile in your shoes. Be strong and be happy thats all you need to do..

Yes! Bernice hit it. Dealing with lupus/MS being stuck laying here, you have been such a joy to watch and follow. Takes me away in joy, laughter, being right there beside you in all that you are doing. Even the days on your loss and frustration all of us are there with you lifting you up. You have touched so many lives just sharing what you do by having such a beautiful heart, and a joy in your walk. Thank you for letting us be there with you to escape our pain. 💜

Sandi, Bernice’s comment is nice as many health care treatment centers have you and other creators as a thankful diversion from things like chemotherapy, dialysis and other treatments which can be difficult to endure. Even the kids like what you’re doing. Thank you, Sandi. Don’t stop being ewe!😊

Hi Sandi, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy watching you and your sheep. I suffer from anxiety and depression and watching you helps make some of my darkest days a little brighter. I don’t own a farm or raise sheep but you have made me feel like part of your family and I want to thank you for that.

Hi Sandi. I wanted to add to everyone’s comments on how much we appreciate you and that you share your life with us. You farm as farming should be done. I think we mostly understand the economics of mass production of meat as a commodity but you remind us that it can be done another way. I know you’re not my “friend”, you don’t know me and you doubtless get thousands of emails and comments for every video you post. But you (virtually) speak directly to us and so it kind of feels like you are. Please leave behind any doubt that you bring good to our lives and I look forward to every video you post.

I just to say that your channel is one of the few that my 8 year old daughter and I watch that has made her want to be a farm girl when she grows up. She already loves all the animals but not only does she want to be a farm girl but she wants to be a vet for farm animals as well. Its because of channels like yours that let's her get a taste of that life now, and helping her decide what she wants to be when she grows up and I want to thank you for that. 🥰

Sandi, thank you for all that you do. We, your fans, know why you say you do KZbin with your sheep and we're grateful for it. We're also grateful for all the extra, unforseen things we find in your videos. I began watching your channel after losing my first pregnancy in May of 2021 and found comfort in a small way in watching you with your sheep and family and this last year (2022) losing my second pregnancy, though I couldn't watch for a little bit due to my grief, I'm finding a small, but much appreciated, measure of comfort again. My husband and I will try again, but the point of my comment I wanted to make was thank you for every small or big thing you do whether intentional or unintentional; we appreciate you. 💕
