My Mom and her friend used to drive around with her station wagon in the 60s. Back then they used put some great furniture and other stuff out in the richest neighborhoods . My Mom made our coffee table out of an old vintage door. A lot of furniture came from the curb and my Mom was a huge garage saler and thriftier. I love garage sales and thrifting because my Mom always took me with her when I was a kid.

I saw a DIY with those lego boxes online. Someone soaked the label off the front. Inside there are two holes they put a screw through and hung the box as a shelf. It was styled really well and looked super cute with a plant on it

Oh, I love this! Trash in my country is never that good :D but I have saved a lot of stuff myself just by passing by and seeing it. I come back and take it when there is not a lot of people. It is a bit frowned upon here...well not exactly but some people just judge you and look at you not in a nice way... Anyways what you are doing is actually great! I collect dolls and would love to come a hunt with you :D for dolls and storage bins! Thank you for taken me virtually! I love it!

Those legos and duplos can be worth good money. Check them before you donate. The retro tables are great. You should keep them if you have room and just put a quick coat of rustoleum spray paint on them. The tins are great for storage and really cute too. Love the chairs. Great stuff today girls. The crayon box reminds me of my mom..she had a tin like that she kept her letters from my dad.. My friend and I go over to the apartments across the street we find so many nice things..usually we take the books over to the free library..we go once or twice a week..

That’s so cool…great chairs and Halloween tins 🎃👏👏I just wish u would have taken all the boxes of books because u can donate them to schools, preschools, drs offices for the waiting room . Also, look into donating to VVA …you can schedule a date for them to pick up boxes and bags right from ur door and they leave a tax deductible receipt on ur doorknob or under ur doormat. It’s so convenient because u don’t even have to be home

I used to run our local Friends of the Library group and those two boxes you found of kid books we would have loved. By selling books 10c - $2 we granted over $50,000 back to the library. Those books looked nice but please people don't donate your trashed stuff. I got stories...

Love the Halloween tins and those outside side tables made of metal I believe those look pretty old and I’m excited about your blue chairs they look really comfy just spray them down with some Lysol lol or shit you could probably scrub them with soap and water and spray them down with the hose and let them dry in the sun lol you guys get so excited it’s so funny it cracks me up because that’s the way I would be with my girlfriend and you guys sometimes look like you’re a little scared when people are outside but their trash is already thrown to the curb. You do know once somethings thrown to the curb it’s a free-for-all and don’t feel weird or ashamed get your ass out and get that stuff and just wave to the people I’m sure they’re happy that someone’s repurposing it or taking it lol but I always noticed that you guys are nervous sometimes and there’s absolutely nothing to be nervous or ashamed of so go get that fun stuff and I really enjoy this video I always like watching you guys drive around because it’s absolutely beautiful out there wherever you are and absolutely love the bird noises and I put myself in your place and what the feel of the day is by the sunshine and the smells all around you and it’s nice to travel with someone else ha ha ha lol take care and cute vines today❤️🤟👍👊🏻

At first when I saw the title garbage picking I cringed a bit. After watching what these people threw away it was so shameful, these were definitely items that should have been donated instead of filling landfills. Good job for you guys saving these items and the environment 👏. Hi, thanks for watching! We try to be mindful of how much we feel comfortable taking. For us, we do it for fun, to save items that are still usable, and to find useful items for ourselves(mostly looking for vintage holiday). And that is a privilege that we have, we see many families and pickers who may need the items and can't afford them even at the thrift store, or will resell(bc that is what they do for a living). So its a balance of taking some, and leaving some for the next person. While it is hard for us to see things being thrown out that are perfectly useful, we're happy that most people in the neighborhood leave it out neatly expecting people to take some. Hope that clears it up a bit for you! 😀
