@@ShinyBriteDoggo so many kids as well as adults love to read but, can’t afford books. Also, many adults want to read a physical novel but, don’t want to keep a ton of books. This way they can give 1 then, take 1 .

Hoping someone comes and saves the rest of the books, should not be thrown out.

@linaleblanc8288 You beat me to it. Lol. I was going to suggest the same thing. I'm from NOLA, too, and we love our little free libraries. We always make sure to leave a book when we take a book. 😊

Watching these videos kills me because of all the good stuff that's going to go in the dirt, and I'll say this again; I'm so glad you two are saving some things to be reused. I love seeing the Richard Scarry books, and of course all the vintage ones. Thanks for rescuing them. The bunny molds are adorable.

Trash is the best..,I find so many amazing things to sell from dumpsters, usually higher dollar items. my best score a few months ago was a box of old sports military and state felt pennants from the 1930s-1990s I’ve already sold a good bit of em already made over $1500 so far and I still have alot left I think it was 75 pennants in total…some of them sold for 200-250$ a piece

Now being the crafter I am and a big lover of Christmas, I would have grabbed the Santa blow mould and worked crafting magic on it. I would fix Santa to be an indoor decoration. Here is what I would do: 1. Repaint Santa. 2. Get a Santa hat for the white “fur” and the white fur ball on it. Pick up 2 or 3 hats for the “fur”. 3. Get the wig, beard and whatever else that would help decorate Santa. 4. You can add any other decorations you want and I would make sure to put a light in it too. That is what I would definitely do. Keep thrifting, estate sales and trash picking. Love watching your channel ladies. I never miss a video of yours.

I have been watching your videos for years and share your passion for vintage Halloween and Christmas. Today I went thrifting with a friend and found an Indiana Glass/Hazel Atlas Halloween ice bucket for $3.99. I immediately thought of both of you. Keep up the inspirational and informative videos.

I 1st bought The Sweet Smells of Christmas in 1982 when my son was 6 yrs. old. It's got scratch & sniff pages of pine trees, hot chocolate, an orange just to mention a few. Since then, I've bought this book for many a child, including my grandchildren. ❤

The chocolate plastic bunnies are from Walmart. They are hard to find. I am not sure if they had them out this year. I never found the bunnies you had, but I found a shorter version of them at Walmart. I have seen people haul them at Walmart on KZbin videos, but no luck finding them.

I would be just mad digging. How can people not donate!? How do you prevent getting mad? Im so mad rght now. So much good stuff! Kids toys they could have donated to children without toys but no these people with big houses throw it in the trash. I can’t imagine the amount of good stuff missed and now gonna take a thousands of years to decay in the lamdfill. Man, humans are so unresponisble to how we treat our home planet / only planet.
