I had the same problem on my freezer. Check the water drain in the back located on bottom of fridge. That back up and doesn't allow proper venting which makes inside of freezer build up with ice. If this works, you follow me. You're welcome ❤

You are a good dad man. That outshines all your other accomplishments. Also, I remember my son had a speech delay and he was taught the "more" sign. I was startled one day to see his younger sister had learned from watching him! She loved her some food and when she realized signing "more" got him stuff, she started toddling around signing "more" constantly! 🤣🤣🤣 She didn't care to absorb "please", "thank you", or any of that nonsense, she kept it strictly business. 🤣🤣

Freezer- empty it, turn it off and let it thaw out. There could be an ice patch blocking the seal, creating the leak and more ice to form

My last fridge had a leaking freezer too. I had to break apart ice that formed in the bottom. When it leaked is how I knew it needed to be done. I would put a towel flat on the floor, smash the ice and slide it onto the "dank moisture catcher" my daughters called it and toss outside or into the tub to melt. You did toss a small chunk out already. From what I remember it was the ice maker not draining properly.

I'm an appliance repair guy and I've seen that issue a thousand times with your fridge its a cloged evaporator drain line just put all of your food in a cooler and unplug it for 24 hours

I had the same issue with my fridge, it's the drain, it is plugged, most likely frozen. Try dethawing the freezer so the drain can drip onto the drain pan under the fridge

It's not turned around there's just a hold lot of ice under the bottom drawer if they take them all out they can break the ice through the ice in sink wipe after after all ice is out and there won't be any more leaks
