On today’s adventure show, we went to the largest Arab city in Judea and Samaria - Nablus, also known as Shechem. During the Second Intifada and early 2000s, the Israeli media labeled this town as the “capital of terrorism”. Some said that as many as 80% of terrorists in Israel came from this city.
Today, we went to the city to check out the religious and historical sites, experience the culture and meet the people. We also wanted to find out if Nablus was actually the terrorist capital of Israel, and if it is still a volatile place.
The answers might surprise you.

I love Abood Cohen. Such a man of peace. He's like a good Samaritan bringing different people and cultures together. I loved watching a Samaritan man who speaks amazing English, Arabic and Hebrew taking American Evangelical Christians to a Greek Orthodox church in a mostly Muslim city. So sad these precious are stuck. We were taught if you want to experience hospitality visit the Arab peoples homes, yet I am sad before I was saved anger blame, hate was at times my close friend, but Jesus changed that 🙌🏾 He taught me another way & continues to teach me by His spirit & His Word , Hate is akin to murder, not good for mind, body or especially our souls. I have deepest love for Jewish people I cry whenever I meet one, Jesus makes my heart like marshmallow love for Israel and her people. The historical artifacts and everything proves so much about the jewish culture & heritage on the entirety of levant there’s no question about it. I also understood that Arab administration will usually end up in corruption as people can commonly see from middle east countries. However i do disagree about how Israel treats Palestinians. The hate that results from this conflict Israel also has a part to play, the demolition & everything. It’s easy for outsiders to be nonchalant about it but IF you happen to be born as a palestinian how would you feel to get your homes demolished. At the end of the day, Palestinians or Jewish we are human beings & should treat one another in a proper manner.

The time I visited Nablus my friends took us to Jacobs well and we got into Joseph’s tomb the Isreal guys missed out on. After we went to visit the orphans we had brought gifts to help. Our group went to the Samaritan city at the top of the hill. I enjoyed seeing all the things the Isreal guys showed on their film from Nablus and would like to see how their pictures match what I have from the Samaritan city. stik

She delved deep into the Turkish and British archives of the 19th and 20th centuries to lay out in painstaking detail exactly what happened in that region from the beginning of Zionism in the 1880's to the creation of Israel in 1948. The next place you should go to Jericho. All the land of Judea and Samaria is given to the Jewish people by the GOD according to Bible and actually it is occupied by the Palestinian people. Israel should exercise full sovereignty over all the lands in the holy land from Golan heights to Negev desert. Right off the bat, you had a misunderstanding with Abud, when you asked him about the 70% thing. He thought you meant 70% of the population are terrorists, which made a funny take about Israel being lunatics and haters believing 70% of Schkem are terrorists. That's not what Israel meant, and you guys know that, I was waiting for a correction or a clarification with Abud, but neither came. Second, Abud is a character. The notion of this documentary is that "Israel hates Samartians" when that is clearly false. There are more Samaritans living IN Israel proper (In Holon) than in the Schkem region. Just think about that for a second. The propaganda machine is very well oiled.

In regards to the part where we discussed the terrorism in Shechem with Abud, I think you are misunderstanding the dialogue. It is true that the Israeli media labeled Shechem as the capital of terrorism during the Second Intifada and as late as 2007. That is what we were discussing with Abud. Since he grew up there, he disagreed with that statistic. Of course, the media probably was over-dramatic on their numbers, but there is no doubt that a lot of terrorism came out of Shechem during that time period. Today, it is definitely a lot quieter. However, the refugee camps are a different story, and Abud even told us that he had to be careful if he were to go in there.
