17yr airline employee here, I am a professional traveler. I’ve lived here in San Diego 30yrs. Had a house in Rosarito for 10yrs. So walking you need ‘passport card’ only, same for driving across but the reason why they needed to have that white haired guy come with the sprinter van and pick them up is usually the border guards at Tijuana don’t ask for anything, no ID nada, when driving across. Thats why they were still going even after twice saying they didn’t have a passport. If you can sneak in to mexico, no US border will ever deny a citizen back in even with no ID, so they’re not worried about getting back in the US. After trump the Tijuana border looks like ours. They ID you and inspect just like we do to them, it’s only fair and there’s plenty of disgusting criminal Americans on the run heading for Mexico to escape. We should not get any special treatment in that specific area of human existence. But hey, that’s just me as a rational normal thinking fair adult ya know 😉 Not some loser broke bitch took chump inbred racist donkey pimple fool acting all superior to the brothers to the south. And I’m German white as white. But I’m a surfer and like baja. I’ve actually been there and talked to actual humans that are there and so now I can’t rationally be prejudice against them so blindly because I hide behind anonymity 😂😎
