Goose fair has some very special memories for me. The town cryer still herds a team of gease through the town to open the fair as traditional origin. I'm yet to find and send you a book of my late fathers and a program from the 70s PT (i know ive been saying for a year now 😅 sorry) Great tou mentioned about children getting lost. Goose fair was the first ever time me and my father got separated, we always had a reference spot to meet if we got lost wich was usually the emergency services van: police or st jogns ambulance and tell them i was lost.
