You missed a trick with the PCSOs, you should have demanded to see their Designation Cards which define their duties and powers and they are supposed to carry at all times. They HAVE to show them to you if asked but It seems many of them don't know this and don't even carry the cards

But obviously it is a rule not enforced and not obeyed, they are rarely asked and most of those I have seen challenged on KZbin are not even aware of the obligation, so slack training probably to blame. A bit like many police not even aware they must tell people they are filming so their GDPR obligations can be fulfilled.
