Awesome video, wish I was on the west coast so I could be there in person! I was hoping to see Mark Rober stick around and watch the BattleBots panel from the audience but I didn’t see him. Any idea if he was still there supporting you guys? … As for the pinwheel question, my guess is that Diana was playing the part of a pinwheel Korok from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. (Yahaha! 🎉)

Because the pinwheels are the safest way to feel like a Hammersaw without the excessive danger of a big metal spinner, it's a spinner with teeth on an arm that you can swing, that feels VERY on brand for Skorpios

There is nerf in my skorpios video... my 2 favorite hobbies in one place. By the way there is some amazing nerf innovation out in the nerf space both spring powered and motors. There is some amazing brushed and brushless motors out there. And by the way E=mV2 so its many time than 4 times the power.

I have to get out to one of these events. I know the basic build of a combat robot to compete witg based on Olde World desisn and physics. But with the new motors and everything, I would need backers and a team

Try a smaller weight class first: the technology and principles are the same, just smaller and cheaper so you don't need backers or a team to get started. You can get a fairyweight (1/3 lbs) together for around $100, around 3-5x that for a beetleweight (3 lbs).
