Sziasztok! Budapest központjaiban sok ilyen vásár van, kisebb nagyobb területeken, minden kerületben, Vörösmarty tér, Városliget, Parlamentnél van az ország karácsonyfája is kiállítva. Igaz ilyenkor sokkal drágább minden a helyszínen, mert hát mégis melegen kell tartani az ételeket, italokat. A forralt bort mindenképpen kostoljátok meg! Javaslom még a "szaloncukrot" is ami díszes papirokba van csomagolva, ahány színű annyi izű is! Ezeket a karácsonyfára szokták rakni dísznek, amit aztán meg is lehet enni róla! S ha minden igaz nemsokára havazás is lesz! December közepéig lesznek vásárok! További kellemes időtöltést! Ohh majd elfelejtettem; ilyenkor fantasztikus a kültéri thermál fürdők, Széchenyi-, Rudas-, Gellért..😊😊

Thank you for the video! It's beautiful. 'I'm Hungarian from Budapest so let me write some comments: About the car: You can win it if you join a game. About the food: Everything is overprized there, in other places you can buy the same things for half the price or less. BUT: All vendors have to give a daily menu for 4 EUR (they don't advertise it but you can ask for it) and every weekend they sell some speciality for 6.5 EUR.

You are right, unfortunately, that market is expensive, but there will be other ones with lower prices and similar products and food. Businesses are pushing the prices up, especially now because of tourism. That lángos was VERy expensive considering how simple it is. Have a nice time in Budapest, guys, and stay warm!

Yes, in front of the St. Stephen Basilica, is the best known, and perhaps the most touristy as well, as you gently brought it up for a second. On one hand I'm super happy and proud, that this fair became the best in Europe, because it is the safest. 25 - 30 yrs. ago this wasn't the case. At that time the Viennese Christmas Market, and others were much better known, but things have changed since. After years of bloody terrorist bombings, shootings and knife attacks at various Western and Central European Capitals' Christmas Markets, fear descended down, resulting not only heavy police presence, but also various heavy defensive installations brought up, such as giant palisades, made by heavy concrete and so on. 👮🚓 However fear and bunker - mentality is not compatible with the happiness of Christmas. Thankfully, this is not the case in Hungary yet. Oh, I'm sure there are some discrete measures in place here too, such as the presence of plain clothes police, to keep an eye on pick - pockets, the drunk, or small time trouble makers, yet that's not quite the same. On the deeper philosophical level the overt and bold commercialization of Christmas troubles me, because that is not the true meaning of Christmas, when we suppose to be BOTH happy and contemplative about the birth of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. All this noise, the trinkets, the swarming to purchase more and more things, doesn't reflect that. It's rather, a distraction. Your beautiful wife's smile at 0:37- 0:38, worth infinitely more than all that. 💔 Keep up the good work Pablo! I believe that your videos are inspirational for a lot of people, be they are near or far.👍🙏

15:52 I am an old Hungarian man. In the past, lángos was the food of the poor people, it could be bought cheaply in every market. When I was a child, a lángos was worth approx. It was 50 cents. (with sour cream, cheese)

Hi, thanks for the video. During the first Advent period, a smaller market should open at Óbuda old town square, where the prices are better (lángos+sour cream+cheese) 1500Huf last year, which is cheaper than at the market. at Basilka. Then the market in Ujpest will open, which is nice and not far away.
