You will probably get this a million time but if you go on the surface with 90% night it stays dark until around 11am. While reaper dont spawn after 5:30am which makes it extemly easy. They also dont spawn before 5:30pm. Perfect time for short surface runs :)

@@Quthology No there the time would Just Go over faster or slower from 5:30 PM to 5:30 am depending in the cycle :) you can say a lot about asa But i really Like the redo of the cycle.

Raasclarke did a really good video explaining all of this with all of the different day cycles. I’ve been sticking to those times and I don’t die as much now if I stick to the 90% night. I tried it on a 50% 50% cycle and I died so quick 😂😂

The sun doesn't come up until 11:00am on 10% day 90% night and the reapers and nameless stop coming out at 5:30 am. Between 5:30am and 11:00am is the best tike to tame fasolasuchus and grap drops!

Night cycles have changed with ASA. on a 10% day - 90% cycle you will be safe to go on surface from 14:20pm or something up to 11:23am

That was so much fun! See, cosmo allows us to play Ark in new, terrifying ways even without emitting charge. I’m really excited for possible fasola taming! But the funniest thing to me was how you both kept basically everything you found individually when I expected some gran drooling and negotiating of loot. It seems you can cooperate quite well when there isn’t an arbitrary point system

The best place to find trilobite is at: 38, 58 somewhere around there. It's a small stream of water that ends with a waterfall right down to the blue area. Hope you find it. 😊😊

34:57 I’m pretty sure no matter the day/night cycle. Reapers/Nameless only spawn on the surface from 5:30AM - 5:30PM which gives you a lot of in game time to tame a Fasola.

14:17 Sometimes drops can spawn twice while a drop is already dropping so like a white drop could spawn while the yellow drop is I’m the ground!

Good to see surface drop spawns are still broken from ASE. Two to three would spawn on top of one another like you were seeing with that yellow/blue one. Had it happen on several trips to the surface in ASE.

Btw the Faso also spawn a lot more in like the exit by the fertile lake by like the green ob there r a lot more of them there, so if you'd ever want one try taming there instead. Though the exit by the portal is much better for loot hunting....like personally I would've only done it if I had a rock drake, but it was still a funny ass ep and amazing that Axe was with u! Keep up the great work! XD

From what I understand, on 90% night, the reapers go to sleep at 530am which is the best time to grab loot.

It is nice that in ASA, unlike ASE, the rising sun and wall of flame move realistically. So the Redzone where you are drop hunting gets night last but also gets the wall of flaming death last. If you have a chance to check it out in godmode, the wall-of-fire effect is seriously well done.

On Ps5, I went to the surface and sat there for an entire night and got no drops at all in any of the zones of the Surface. It was very disappointing.

That is odd . I play on ps5 as well and i get a ton of drops on the surface . Very good drops at that . Needs to be the surface area on top left of the map . The surface area on the right side of the map is nowhere as good

Yi Lings are perfect for this. You would never need to land (except for drops) and could be using the dash off the reapers for height, and then could cling onto the walls for stam. Worked wonders for me.

Every time there's a collab with the rest of the boys, you know this is going to be fun to watch. I hate going up to the surface even on a rock drake. I was having anxiety attacks on you and Axe's behalf lol. The drops can be worth it though. Hopefully they don't nerf them in favor of making the treasure maps more appealing to boost DLC sales.

This has nothing to do with this episode, but it was mentioned in the last episode and it was too late to comment about it, so I figure I'd mention it here: Syntac mentioned that when he was looking for a baryonyx that if he used the scanner he wouldn't be able to find a good level because the scanner has a level cap, don't tell wildcard, but that straight up doesn't work. I was using mine to look for carchars and my level cap is I think 128, but it brought me straight to a 145 that was unfortunately stuck in the wall and died in lava. I also puled it out to look for two 130 shastas and it found both of them without fail, so it's fully equipped for finding 150s right out of the box

I can confirm, you’re creatures will not die on the surface during the day if it isn’t rendered in. Died and left a rock drake. Went back the next night to do loot drops, rock drake was there fighting a reaper

Yes, blue + yellow = white. Also red + green = yellow. Lights use additive colors where red, green, blue add to white. Pigments use subtractive color where blue + yellow = green and red, yellow, blue add to black.

They dont give that light "aura" to do bonus damage, but if they are shot with cosmos web, they take the extra damage. I think it's always been like that, just inconvenient because you can't "light" many at the same time

when i went to surface for the first time. i had like 30 reapers spawn on me. thankfully i had my rockdrake to get out of harms way quickly but yeah i feel like they messed up the spawn rate on them.

reapers don't come out the ground between 5:30am and 5:30pm so on 90% night there's quite a few hours where reapers don't spawn meaning you can tame fasolas freely

You can make reapers and nameless run away from you by shooting them with the cosmo webs. You also cannot survive during daytime on a Pyromane.

FYI DO NOT use climbing picks, Evo found out the bug is real, it wiped him out, he lost everything. Again. I don't know why but i can't see the light beams. Which makes getting them so much harder. I think the nameless are a good way to farm maps. Glad you guys got Axes stuff back.

Oddly enough Pyromanes cant survive the surface during day despite being able to walk and swim in lava. They're also not immune to radiation. Even before the nerfs.

I don't think barney lied to you. I think it's just simple game mechanics. All of the drops have a white light base wrapped in a different color, like blue, yellow, red, green; So unlike in real life, when these colors mix, you just get the predominant underlying color which is always white.

I went to the surface last week. I landed on the ground for 1 second and 8 reapers spawned on top of me. I was trapped and couldn't move, and when I died my bag meshed into the ground and was gone for ever. I had full ascendant armor, weapons, and 5+ good stat tames. I got arked so bad I had to take a few days off =(
