We Were All WRONG About SUSIE!!! | A Deltarune Theory/Analysis

Hello everyone, today I'm talking about my latest deltarune theory about Susie! this is the longest video I've done so far (at least with my actual voice in it)
+ plus I even had to cut some stuff out which I will likely make into its own short video (somewhat) soon

Susie is my favorite character and the one I relate with most (I was a very angry teenager) and I don't think Susie is stupid at all. She's definitely not book smart but she's a lot more people smart than the others I'd say

I don't think Susie could figure out how to perform Acts on her own or learn healing magic if she was generally stupid. I think we've only seen the beginning of Susie's development into a more well-rounded person.

Yeah well said. like I said I don't think she's stupid or a bad person at least at heart. I think she has had a troubled past either maybe a bad home life or some other reason. and I hope we do get to see her kinder side! I mean we kinda already did but more of it you know?

@@theorycrafter300 Thanks! I'm sure there must be or have been some traumatic events in her life to make her want to become a bully, so hopefully those things can be improved upon and she gets a better life all-around by the end.

this is a really good analysis! i've not seen anyone saying susie is "stupid", but i do see everyone just accepting that she can't do the puzzles or genuinely couldn't see how her actions in the kround fight were bad, and all of that can definitely be attributed to her past trauma and relationship with others and the world. She's not stupid, she's just been wronged by the world and so she has a twisted view of herself and the world.

i agree that she’s way smarter than people think, but at the same time, how do you argue against the prison sequence? like the first puzzle.

Um yeah. like I said in the video or at least implied. I think she can do it. or at least of she tried doing it herself she probably could. I think its mainly due to her lack of confidence. and I think that she actually can do it. and its just her being kind of stubborn? in asking that she would like help.

She doesn’t know how to solve it but nobody had explained to her how puzzles worked at that point. In the other puzzles she doesn’t even try or pay attention because she thinks she can’t do them. Later, just before Lancer fight she solved the second puzzle, so even if it is easy she can learn; then, she suggest act strategies like throwing Ralsei or in the case of the puzzle Berdly tried to solve but couldn’t she is able to deduce the answer of the last puzzle. If Susie had the help of Noelle, food in her stomach and friends to support her she would do so good at school. I mean, she is no genius, and no nerd but she is indeed smart. I see her like the lazy smart kind of student, that doesn’t put much effort and is not the smartest, but for time to time if she puts effort does very good.

9:26 I know someone who eats like paper and even took bites out of their eraser at some point. Pretty much everyone around them thinks of them as smart and they get good grades and stuff. (Although, most people don't know about the like paper eating thing.) You don't have to be dumb to eat inedible objects. Idk why someone would and neither does my friend.
