Strange seeing a car 4 years younger than my own good running 2012 Ram pickup getting flattened for the shredder. And it's always a little sad seeing yesteryear's family haulers and others one-time dream machines carried down the highway to their demise like planks of sausage.

Then what was the G6? I thought THAT was the Pontiac version of the cobalt.

The G6 was successor to the Grand Am

They have so many cars that start with "g" I guess Pontiac was the REAL g spot 🤪😜. Lol 😆 I mean come on, g3,g5,g6,g8, do I even want to know how many other g titles there are? Pontiac: good for a laugh.

@@justincooper5189the G-nomenclature is just a letter G plus the total of the other letters in the original model name. AVEO (4 letters) = G3 Grand Am (7 letters) = G6 Grand Prix (9 letters) = G8 I admit G5 throws the formula off lol, unless you use Cobalt (6 letters) for G5

So basically you are not recycling anything here except tires and rims? I was in an UK junkyard and they take everything apart and then separate plastic, metal, rubber etc
@diegosilang48235 ай бұрын
The crushed cars are for steel recycling and cast aluminum blocs are also removed. He only remove parts what he thinks is sellable. He dont have the staff, time or space to strip every cars. Also a lot of "recyxling" just thrown to third world countries or landfill.

I can tell why that scrap trucks like have to have the sides and crushed vehicles covered . Well sure where in the U.S. it happened but a crushed hauler was hauling some crushed vehicles and something came off the crushed vehicles and hit a moving vehicle on the highway causing a major accident and after the federal government said that all trucks hauling crushed vehicles must have sides and crushed vehicles must be covered .
@mrnapolean17 ай бұрын
Yeah down here they haul them on flatbeds but they wrap them with like a net material to keep stuff from coming off the vehicles.

@@mrnapolean1 up here in Minnesota they are in a closed trailer & wrapped up bc awhile back a piece of crush vehicle came off and went into another vehicle on the highway here so the state decided to have scrap vehicles in a closed trailer wrapped.

Benefits of the Fusion over the Camry… better mpg, more comfortable ride, and you’re not supporting a country that STILL hasn’t apologized for their war crimes throughout the Pacific.
