As South Ausies we've been going to Bendleby Ranges for years, and you got the best campsite riverbend. Back when Warren was running things we used to love tracks like Ridge top track, Billy goat ridge and Uruga hill. After Charlie took over he added some cool tracks to the mix with Hungry Highway, extending Uruga hill and calling it Pats peak, Kings ridge eliminated the steep down hill off of Billy goat ridge and Link track has evolved over the years to be a cool track to. Also the addition of sunset ridge is a cool place to spend a sunset. We haven't tackled Eke peak track yet due to a lack of lockers but with Burto showing us the way we might next trip.

I did Billy Goat Ridge in a 2012 WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Quadra drive 2 and air suspension back in 2016 all, the other vehicles were like yours, they thought I was mad.. It is a solid 9/10 in a touring set up, spare underwear is recommended in a full IFS vehicle with standard tyre sizes, the angles get scary on a narrow ridge with limited line choices. Looks like it’s got even more challenging now. One of my favourite places up there.

Hey mate, Cut up a sacrificial thong as a rattle packer for the spare tyre latch and use it to add some squashable pressure. No more rattles.🤠

Next time you're changing a tyre and you're better fit it to the car use the Jack handle or tyre lever under the tyre can locate it on the studs this will now limit the stress and strain and damaging your back..

That rock wall is why we like our autos in the States😊 lots of those walls here. What gearing do you use? The highest ratio I see is 4:10. That's what I run. Better on the highway. Some go to high 5:0's. This was a great one, Tyler! Love watching these trips. Cheers!🎉🎉🎉

Great to see that Track again. I was there over the June long weekend and conquered Eke’s Peak with my MR Triton. Definitely the hardest Track I’ve done so far! At this stage I was told by Charlie, that I was the first female driver that made it up to the top !

Been to Bendleby a few times but last time was about 10 years ago. Looks like they've put in some more difficult tracks. We took a few stock Landcruisers up Billy Goats but don't think I would now - looks a lot more chewed out. Great place though, and great people who run it. Worth the cost.

@TylerThompson When rolling downhill in low range 1st or 2nd, please pull the handbrake 2-3 notches to change the brake balance more to the rear than front. Only tap the brakes when needed. My experience is way better changing the brake balance than not. - Give it a try and let us know your thoughts.

​@@BorisEknerwhat would that achieve ? If the centre diff is locked, or, no centre diff, then the entire drive line is retarded evenly, ie, front brakes retard the rear wheels though the drive line. Like wise, using the handbrake will also retard the front wheels through the drive line. Am I missing something here? Btw, I had 2x 80 series and 2x GUs 20yrs ago.

Hey Tyler,, in my experience, 32 years of 4x4ing,, I’ve had the Best and I’ve have the cheapest tyres on market, I’ve been running Habilead practical Max mt on my Lux for years now, they come in at $600 fitted for the set…. This is a comment purely for Demi. Tyler has had enough of the spotlight previously, it's Demis turn. I have watched you from the very first day that you started to challenge yourself in the realm or 4wDriving. This latest episode has shown everyone just how much progress you have made and how capable you are. I'm sure you get tips from others in the group as you travel, but in the end it's you who are driving. You mentioned you were feeling sick at one stage and I think that was good. If you get too cocky, confident and feel invincible, that's when you put your life and others in danger. So keep feeling like you want to be sick at times. I don't know of any other Female in Australia that is as capable as you in such a short time. If there is, let me know. You've got a great Teacher, even though you Butt heads now and again. It's wonderful that you share a passion together for travel and 4wdriving. I'm sure I speak for others that follow you.
