My dad served 20yrs. in the Army, he ALMOST went into Vietnam, but when he got out of training the war ended and he was deployed over in Germany. Now me and dad enjoy watchin War movies, he always tells me that he was ready for anything, even war...but no one's truely ready for such a hell.

That's a fair reason. My thing about that is that for one war is not just conflict. The Air Force flies supplies around. The Navy is usually more used around the globe because of ease of use, the Air Force requires a runway in another nation's territory in order to do that usually. The Air Force did send B-2's, B-52's and F-117 bombers to Iraq for instance and during that they basically annihilated enemy comms, tanks, and important VIP's. All this is understandable though, its only 50 years old
