I was in the air when I first heard about it; our pilot was being threatened with military force - to land or be shot out of the sky. I remember thinking, Well. . .someone's in a grumpy mood. Then I couldn't believe they were going to shoot down one of their own people's planes. We were in a holding pattern over O'Hare Airport for 45 minutes. I was afraid we would run out of fuel.
