We can help by praying the rosary daily and offering up our disappointments and trails up in the meantime. We can do good deeds to those that need our help, even in small ways. Offering our time to say hello to a neighbor or stranger, giving a smile to someone who is lonely and needs a voice to hear a hello. All small acts of kindness to others and especially those we do not like, is a dozen times of giving Jesus our Lord the best part of who we are and can be, for the love of Him who gave His life for us. I'm suspicious of this apparition because the only documentation on it I could find was from Marion Horvat who wrote the book, did the video and disseminates the information about it. There IS a Church approved Miraculous Statue of OLGS in Quito, but that is the ONLY thing approved by the Church. I wrote to the "Miracle Hunter" who has posted all the approved Marian apparitions naming OLGS, he told me that only the statue has been approved, there is no mention of a journal or transcript of a prophecy that has Church approval. The conversations between the nun (who is indeed incorrupt) and the BVM can only be found in Marion Horvat's recounting. A woman wrote into Catholic Answers about 5 years ago with this very question about the actual source documentation because she also went to great lengths to locate the original documents and it kept circling back to Marion Horvat. I became suspicious because OLGS predicted the hellish time in the late 20th century, asking this nun to pray for the time almost 500 years in the future, and she never mentioned the chaos of the Pope Francis years? Why stop with just the immediate post Vatican II, SSPX, Abp LeFebvre, the sidelining of the TLM, of which Marion Horvat is exceedingly interested and not these far more hellish times? It occurred to me that these apparitions would be stunning if told backwards with what is known in the late 1990''s (where the prophecies end as I recall) - looking at it that way and telling known history - it's no longer a wonder. If anyone out there knows of the actual physical journal or transcript of these accounts, please publicize them.

The Latin Mass was being said by Catholics prior to SSPX after the Second Vatican Council. The Old Roman Catholic Church which came out from the Utrecht Church early 1500's, has maintained the Latin Mass and is valid according to Rome, but not licit, though the current pope has stated those clergy may be used if no other priest is available. It is important to know that SSPX is was not the beginning of the Latin Mass after the second Vatican Council. I pray that one day sooner than later the "traditional" Catholics will unite stronger and be able to correct the errors and grave sins coming from Rome. It seems a lost battle to try people to translate correctly : Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso, a very old advocation which refers to the EVENT ( =Suceso) , of the birth of Jesús Christ. During pregnancy women would pray to “ Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso “ so that their pregnancy and childbirth would be good. By the way , just if you want to know , the translation of success in Spanish is : Éxito.

There is a clarification to be made about the name as is not correctly translated in english, in spanish suceso means mainly an event not success, the original name is nuestra señora del buen suceso de la purificacion (candelaria) in english would be something like our lady of the good event of purification (candlemas), it meant to point to the presentation of baby Jesus in the temple which was also the purification of our Lady. I too have been interested since childhood. the difference for me. .. my beliefs are the mirror image of what you have stated. From Old Testament to New. .. I do believe that God is the single source Who in the fullness of time became Man and died and rose again..( look up the Apostles Creed.. that is my total belief) and that the mythology and the various beliefs are the creation of the evil one who can only produce counterfeits to cloud the truth...….. and deceive. When the Creator is displeased, he lifts his protection as the Holy Spirit and allows his Judas to procure judgement. I promise to look up the Apostles Creed. It takes a lifetime of devotion to knock down the Devil's walls of deception.
