Thank you for sharing more about 'La Monica Santa di Calabria' - "the Holy Nun of Calabria". My mom and grandmother met Sr Aiello at her convent in Cosenza back in the early 50s' before coming to America (both sides of my family were from that area). I recall as a kid how they spoke very highly of her as a very holy woman and that she had the stigmata like Padre Pio. She is definitely one of my go-to prayer intercessors!

Today is the first time I have been able to listen..I truly believe that these vision are speaking of the present time. My dear mother had always believed that the attack would come from the far east. Mother Mary is the mediatrix of all graces, and I believe she was giving us one last chance to change. From what I understood from my time studying Aquinas, Heaven's time frame is atemporal - literally outside of time (not that God is not in time, as He is both immanent and transcendent). In the East, it is believed time itself unfolds and flows from the Divine ἐνέργεια as part of what it means for God to have chosen to create the material world. This is the sense meant by "eternal." In this sense, events are "before" and "after" only in the sense of logical priority, not of happening temporally one right after the other. Holy Theotokos, save us! Approval or disapproval of an Apparition is ALWAYS left to the Authority and discretion of the Ordinary of the Diocese in which said Apparitions/Locutions have occurred. It is interesting to note that the Blessed Mother is always crying in almost all of the apparitions. From La Sallette till today. Also, until that message of 1961, Our Lady was already very appalled by the sins of Man. What more of the sins of Man today? It’s unfathomable to even try and measure it. All I could think about is being faithful in praying the rosary, consciously offering sacrifices for reparation, confessions, and trying not to sin again.

I confess I have found it very difficult to find out much about her - a big disappointment to me as my best friend (Italian, of course!) told me about her. My husband has *finally* agreed to wear his Brown Scapular! He has not been to Mass in many years, and now we are both aging appallingly fast. I have prayed so long for his reversion! I think the message applies to Everyday. The coming world ending chastisement is to come, but the dreadful days of sin and perdition are here and now. I think she’s talking about today,now. I can’t think of one country that hasn’t been infected with filth and even involving children now. Recently. I read that Yellowstone is having some turbulence in the geysers. All we’d need is one to explode, and an earthquake will wipe most of our nation out. I’m 78 and have never seen it and the Church itself so corrupt. Yes we definitely must pray. I’m sure we will experience a great chastisement because of our sins and abortion worldwide but sadly worse here. The Rosary must be said but more priests and bishops must also lead like shepherds.

I feel we are all assuming "roles" from His great Passion. The Church is Christ. Those consecrated to her Immaculate Heart are the role of Mary. Repentant sinners as Mary Magdalene. Some are the Sadducees, crying "Crucify Him" Some are reluctant helpers, role of Simone. Some are the actual crucifiers, Roman soldiers. Etc etc There were many "roles" in the first Crucifixion, and there are many roles in the crucifixion of the Church. We know that Easter is coming, so choose your role carefully!

Anthony, thank you for presenting this information. Much of the world seems committed to satan which is of course the source of all evil. We who hold the faith know God and His blessed Mother will prevail in the end, though the interim will be grim beyond belief. We pray the rosary daily and more which we humbly ask will help in some small way.
