Hi everyone, working from home and hooked up with the BBC One broadcast as live to bring you this, and so the padding beforehand to make sure you didn't miss a thing. Have trimmed the video now, so the trails will come off soon. :)

She was a rock. Always facing things head on and giving us all the extra oomph we needed to get through any problem coming our way. The same person who throughout the intense German bombings of WW2 she stayed in London working as a car mechanic in the Army, refusing all pleas to evacuate to safety. After surviving a serious bombing her mother said "I'm glad we've been bombed. It makes me feel I can look the East End in the face." If she was confident and calm about Covid, then everyone can be.

I dunno about you but the death of princess Diana isn’t gonna post a threat to the life of the queen
@damnitimp8269
@damnitimp8269 4 жыл бұрын
@@elliot7753 no it isn't but it caused a great backlash to the Queen and the royals. Such huge backlash from the public can overthrow a monarchy if u know about history. And this was after the 'ANNUS HORRIBILIS' in 1992, the queen's worse year. If u don't know what that means, the queen is blamed for the fail marriages of her sons, princess Sara and princess Diana both divorces prince Andrew and prince Charles + the scandal with camilla, and the video of diana exposing the royal family. It caused a huge backlash to the Queen and that she almost lost the trust of the British community. and anything that post a threat to the monarchy is a threat to the life of the queen. Yet against all of that, after the annus horribilis and diana's sudden tragic death plus the public scrutiny, the Queen Elizabeth II lived through all of that and managed to keep her monarch in tact till now at the present day, now she is the longest reigning monarch in British history, among the longest ruling monarchs were Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I (the virgin queen) Fun fact: Traditionally, reigning monarchs should change their names. But Queen Elizabeth kept hers. There are many Queen Elizabeth's in british history, even Queen elizabeth's mother was named Elizabeth. The difference is that Queen Elizabeth is Queen Regnant, or a queen who has the right to rule. Its different from Queen Dowager and Queen Mother. Queen Dowager is someone married to a current monarch or a widower. Queen Mother is like the title of Queen Elizabeth's mother. She is married to the monarch and is the mother of the future monarch. It would be perhaps the title qiven to Kate middleton if George, her son would be crowned as king.

The Queen has experience having lived through the bombing of Britain during WW II and as monarch has had to meet people who have experienced all kinds of tragedies and triumphs. She’s had tragedy and trouble in her own family and her son and heir has the virus. She has gone though this all with dignity - all her life. It shows and is genuine. In a world of the facile and cheap, dignity, resolve and true experience is a treasure.

The NHS which has faced decades of cuts now have to cope with this pandemic whilst this lady, the richest woman in the world with countless estates all paid for by the taxpayer and hundreds of servants has contributed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of her enormous wealth to fight this. I have more respect for a nurse on shit pay dealing with this on the front line than I have the Queen or any of the royals. A lot of people in this country want a republic and you can see why. In the last 24 hours there have been over a million applicants for Universal Credit, a hand to mouth pittance of money paid out to people who have lost their jobs. Talk is cheap and the royals are full of shit

She also refers to people who have secummed to corona, those we wont see again untill we are in heaven. "We'll meat again". The title means "We will see each other again", which refers to the mobilization in WW2 and the departure of the soldiers to the front. Their families don't know when they will return - or even return, or see each other again in heaven. The song was often performed to departing soldiers in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Queen IS a leader, And is the LAST Windsor Connection between King George V and King George VI. Her Majesty The Queen leads the United Kingdom, The United Kingdom ISN'T The United Kingdom if The Queen is forgotten about, That's why Trooping The Colour ALSO exists for The Queen, To remind the UK that they have a Queen. The Queen works at Buckingham Palace which is the Prime Residency for the British Monarchy and British Leadership, And settles at her Windsor Family Retreat; Windsor Castle, or her Private Family Retreat; Sandringham Palace. "We will meet again" is undoubtedly a subtle yet deliberate reference to the classic 1939 British WW2 song by Dame Vera Lynn, "We'll Meet Again". It's no coincidence that the Queen said these words. Her Majesty was 13 when that song was released. She's gracefully reminding us of the last time we were asked to unite in such a gravely testing time for our nation. Dame Vera Lynn is still alive, by the way: she just turned 103. Hope endures.
