Panzer Man all cars and trucks that are two wheel drive only are actually one wheel drive. Because open diffs. And 4wd trucks are actually only 2wd unless equipped with a limited slip diff or lockers. Having lockers in both diffs of a 4wd is the only way to have Tru 4wd.

Technically Adam AWD and 4WD are totally different. AWD has the ability to send differing amounts of power to all the wheels while 4WD drive can only send 50% of its power to the front, and 50% to the back
