It's wild that while I enjoy fighting games despite not really playing them anymore, I always watch Max's playthrough's but what got me to come to this channel and his twitch was actually being a huge Capcom head. Started watching you when you did the Assist Me videos for Dragon Ball FighterZ. About a year later COVID hits and I'm off from work for a full month with nothing to do. Just so happens that Final Fantasy VII Remake comes out that same month. I don't have a PS4, but you do, and you're streaming the entire game with the same amount of excitement and reverence that I would have if I were the one playing it. I'll never forget that experience, how calming and normalizing it felt to tune in every night to watch your streams. Man, i remember that a friend of mine told me about OG KI to install it on MAME on my old laptop, and i got so into it that i wanted to check more stuff about KI, and one of the top videos on YT that appeared on the recomendations was Max re-building a Killer Instinct arcade cabinet not long after that, the new Killer Instinct E3 announcement on 2013 on the Xbox showcase appeared and the 1st person i thought about was Max (i literally thought "damn, i wonder if Max would be happy about this").... it was just a matter of days for me to see his E3 reaction and laughing my ass off seeing him on screamlord mode XD since then, i've been following Max on both YT and Twitch :)

I'm from Brazil, and have been watching Max for about 4 years, I got into fighting games again because of him, the last I had played was MK 9, but then I got invested in his UMVC3 videos and started to play, I was mid at best, but watching him and trying to play like him kept me going, until MK 11 came out, I was a noob main because he also was and I stayed like that until I started playing kollector for myself, and I finally felt that I was getting better, and I have never stoped playing fighting games since then, thank you Max, and you deserve this award more than anyone, lovee from Brasil.

Imo you're like the gold standard for streaming Max. You seem to know the best times to play a character and when to be genuine. Most important of all? You legit care about games, don't just chase trends for the hell of it, you honor the classics too and also SOMEHOW managed to stay level headed through all of it. I still remember those marvel 3 videos that KZbin passed my way to introduce me to you. Yes they were cringe, but you were always full of genuine love and passion for everything you were doing and that counts for so much.
