They sell work crocs, they are nonskid and hole free, maybe better for cleaning bathrooms. I had to get them because I slipped twice at work in regular crocs and sprained my ankle

So a lil suggestion is when you're at the laundromat, gather the dryer lint and bring it with you. Stuff it in those toilet paper rolls from the outhouses. Lint burns for a long time. And next time get a small tarp to cover your wood. Then it doesn't take so long if it were to rain. Just sayin. ❤ Lovin this vid. Keep em coming. ❤

We are campers as well and everything you call embarrassing is just part of camping. It's not as glamorous as everyone thinks it is. There is always something that you need to fix or add. Nothing is perfect but when it's good it's very good. 😊

I can’t believe people gave you a hard time about the solar panels! Who can afford to spend thousands upon thousands upfront to live off grid? Seems counter intuitive and I love that your set up is a “work in progress” because it’s attainable to so many more people. Also, who is complaining of a “dirty” pit toilet in the woods? I’m sure you can agree with me…after visiting so many different campgrounds across the country I’ve seen some shit. y’all’s pit toilets are some of the cleanest i’ve ever seen.

If my husband and I had treated each other the way you both do, like showing how much you love each other in little ways, by talking to each other when something bothers you instead of arguments, by being kind to one another, by sharing your work, etc, we would still be married. @11:25 laundry sheets will save you a whole jug of space. :) @19:52 Dawn Power Wash will save you a bunch of water. And it's VERY easy to make. And City Market is a Kroger store; in most of Colorado, you'll find the larger version called King Soopers.

Having trouble chopping a bigger log? Aim for the edge of the log, then go around the edge before chopping the center. It will split much easier. At least that works for me.

If you keep the corn in the husk soak in water for about 20 minutes then put that right on the fire it steams the corn beautifully. Love camp fire cooking. 25:40

Truly frivolous embarrassments. Paper plates don't need to be discarded they can be burned in the fire. They also make good fuel. You make a good team I wouldn't worry.

Why put solar panels on the roof because everyone else is doing it? Creating a chance for a leak and now you need to park in the sun so they will charge your batteries. When I tell people this they say that is why they have portable panels. Well, just use the portable panels rather then adding all the solar heat load to your camper. The shade is worth far more then the sun you will get on flat panels on the roof. You can also likely get a soft start kit on that air conditioner to help when using solar or a generator to.

But what you don't know is that I live a camper full-time in Michigan in a year-round campground.... With full hookups .... You're just showing reality of life there's nothing to be embarrassed about.... I understand the fire things.... I can go out to eat with friends and get food in my teeth and be embarrassed and it's okay... Amber the hat is so adorable and so cute on you it looks very tres Chic outdoorsy and I love your glasses with them and you're cute haircut and Gulieta... If you think of it, when it starts to rain just shelter a few logs in your shower house till the sun comes out, you'll have a few dry ones anyway. BTW, what is that big red tent box used for?

They use it as a restroom, to shower & change. It's more roomy and was not much more than the normal smaller style restrooms.

Love that y'all are so honest. I would say the thing i would have a hard time with is the wet wood. Could you maybe get a fifteen dollar tarp from walmart or Amazon and cover your wood pile when you know it's going to rain almost every afternoon? Worth a try for pretty cheap. Or else throw a couple of days worth of wood into something like a cooler or covered trash can you're not using at the moment. Other than tha, you two should not be embarrassed about anything. Solar panels on the roof mean you have to park in the sun. I'll keep my portable panels and 60 foot cables...

Oh we are gonna have both! You’ll see when we post the install video. Since we have a lot of trees where we are camped, we will probably be using our portable panels a lot but on those road trip days, the solar panels on the roof will really help us out to stay powered

You’re embarrassing. Moments aren’t too bad. I got a share one. I’m 70 years old, I had a motorhome and traveled years ago. It was really hot. I had the AC cranking and I had a bunk over the cab motorhome. I went up there to get cool Stark naked, my friend is sitting out by the fire with her mother, and she kept seeing everybody stop and giggle and pointed my motorhome. So finally they got out of their chairs went out in the road and it was my bare bum smashed against the window. That’s what everybody was laughing at. Well, the campground was full, but after it cleared out a little bit, I moved my motorhome to the other side of the campground lol hey little hint from an old timer, I don’t know if you’ve ever tried this. With your corn if you leave it in the husk soak it with a little bit of water or if you can leave it in water for a while, then put it on the fire. In the husk. Love your videos love your little doggy.

Ya’ll sure do a good job keeping toilets clean! I think that would be toughest for me. Was that Renogy folding panel good for ya’ll. I just got a 100w folder but haven’t used it yet. Take care.
