I think (although I'm not 100% sure) in the live version Twiggy simplifies it, the lowest note is held only by Howerdel guitar and Twiggy just plays the melody without the complete chords. Can somebody conferm if I am right or wrong? Check the rock am Ring 2018 video for reference

Beautiful bass, beautiful song, beautifully covered, INCREDIBLE ALBUM!! The Thirteenth Step is one of the deepest works from the MU (Maynard Universe). Seriously helped me quit drinking. This album made me see just how ridiculous substance abuse really is. Thanks for doing it justice! 100%

Hey Leo, Me again. Fantastic work as always! Quick question - when playing on low tunings such as this, do you have a bass with different strings or do you adjust action to avoid the buzz? Edit : This is a noob question, isn't it!

Thanks Neil! I must admit that I sometimes cheat when I have to play in drop tunings by putting a capo on my 5 string bass. But this video is quite old by now. I just dropped it to standard C# and the strings were indeed quite floppy which caused string buzz. I don't know how to adjust the action and I'm too scared to ruin yet another bass. So I just tune down and hope for the best haha

Just ignore the (b). It's just standard C# which is normal for A Perfect Circle. I added the 5th string too (low B) for some reason. Stupid decision from my end
