StormStrike should be priority over Chain Lightning so you gain the 20% bonus damage, but only if you some how do not have the 4 stacks. Since Storm Strike has a 8 sec CD, most Shamans should always have 100% up time on that 20% damage buff. Just thought this was important to to state as your Lightning Shield procs from the talent Static Shock will use up one of these buffs. At any given time, the Shaman should always have 1 SS buff on the target unless you get really lucky with the low 6% proc chance.

Why not test on the boss target dummy, and why not attack from behind? True dps would be much lower than this

All good points. I just wanted to show the WA without thinking too much about the details. The DPS though is fine. It is what I did in raids too.

Beautiful WA. I do have a question for you. Holderhek says in his Shaman guide that you should cast LB or CL at 3 or 4 stacks of Maelstrom so that you don't waste any maelstrom stacks, but in your video I noticed that most of the time you wait for 5 stacks to cast LB. Do you disagree with Holderhek?

I must admit that I am not an expert. I looked it up myself through videos and I did fairly good. Most important is to use your spells on cooldown and I stopped using lava lash because I had no actully no free GCD. So you could use your LB/LC on less stacks if it would be up at the time. It’s optimal to cast it at less than five stacks if you already have SS and FS up on the target and won’t clip your melee swings. It’s a lot easier to just use it at 5 stacks though.

Mana was always fine in raids if you keep up shamanistic rage.

@@bragtyr Yeah, because we get Wisdom from paladins and mana from spriests. I barely need shamanistic rage. I only use it now at 15% boss hp so im healthy for a quick trash pull

Bad Guide but nice WA. First heroism and After That u pull Fire elemental for snapshotting. Flametongue has to be used 1 rank 10 and 1 rank 9. use rank 10 ok the faster weapon. Same rank wont Stack spellpower

@@bragtyr That list isn’t accurate for Enhance/Ele - I main Resto/ele and I’m always ahead of enhance shammys. I’ve even tried enhancement spec with better gear and I was still 500dps behind my worse geared elemental sham.

@@ancientseed2607 No list is ever accurate because you would have to split it according to boss fights. But any list you would check would tell you that ele is worse than enh. check this: wowmeta.com/wotlk/rankings/dps-tier-list It took the data from real fights per boss.
