I just played 4, FOUR, games in a row with players like this. I was jungler in most and i was pleading with them to buy wards or to not get so bloodthirsty if they were playing a god with 0 mobility and bam they always died. Or chasing the wrong fing target. I had 2 teammates chase a fleeing hercules who was below half health while a cupid stayed to fight. Instead of surrounding the cupid for an easy kill they chased the herc, didn't kill him and both died to his teammates coming to help on his side of the map. Then they had the gall to blame me for not helping. Mother fuckers i was helping fight the cupid and your dumb asses chased down a herc who has died 0 times in the game because he is decent and his sustain and im the only person with any antiheal. its infuriating. Edit: and for the antiheal it was even more relevant because they had an anubis and hel too. No one on my team but me bought antiheal even when i asked them. Guess who won.

Its not rocket science really, place a ward on a junction in the jungle where you think the enemies will most likely pass when they try to gank you. People warding "badly" is very rarely a problem in games. The main problem is they don't buy wards in the first place.

Meitti that’s one thing I see a lot of people who don’t know how to wars say. They get intimidated by it and don’t really know ‘how’ to ward. Warding in the first place is better than not warding at all. If you’re a mid, Just ward where the jung often ganks, or if you’re losing your red by their jung, wars your red. If you’re a solo or jung, just throw a ward down on FG ~15 minutes in every two minutes. I promise you can make the time to clear the lane and pop down a ward. If you’re carry, throw a ward down on fury (if you didn’t get oracles) or a choke point, maybe even deep into jungle later on in the game. Same with support. Support should really be placing down those wards so the carry can use gold for a better build early on, but even the carry having just 1 ward can help improve sight so much. That’s another thing, I see people *never* use their Shard Ward. It’s a free ward that comes back every like 2 minutes. Just slap that shit a bit deep around a choke point and voila. If you’re on duo, make sure to plant that shit down near the chokes so you know when the jung is about to rape duo.

Good gods to learn on I guess, so that's something. Anubis has most of the mage ability targeter shapes, so if you can land his full kit consistently then you should be fine to play the better mages that have mobility. At high levels there's just not enough reward to justify the risk of not having mobility and other gods can still outdamage anubis easily. Once your friends realize how much better the other characters are while still being similar mechanically they'll hopefully look into what the top picks actually are.

As a solo main, I understand that by camping me, the enemy jungler is putting the rest of their team behind. I usually only get pissed off when my team still manages to get clapped without a jungler and I get ganked by their mid, support, and jungle at the same time. Wards wont really help when there are 4 people who can just dive my tower.

Alright real shit here, how can pro players call anubis bad but hes my highest kda by such a large margin that its almost unbelievable. Sure he has to be stationary for 2 abilities but he practically instakills any squishy that gets stunned for even a fraction of a second, all 3 of his damaging abilities pierce through walls and he gains his entire hp bar back with 1 abulity drop on a minion wave. I think saying hes bad because hes stationary is more of operator error and bad positioning

I consider myself a decent player. My problem is with rank. I always get people who dont pick the right gods. They build wrong. They throw TONS of games. I was diamond mmr. Lately my record is 24-30. Down to 1650mmr. I just dont know how to do good. Ive had games where i drop 20 kills in mid and we still lose due to bad picks because my solo lane wants to rush a full team solo and leave us 4v5.
