Nothing is wrong with Her, She is a skill based mage where you must predict your opponent, What Makes Nox so hard to use is that the higher u go up in ranked, the more unpredictable your opponents become. Her scaling is Good, She has a Sick ult that reduces DPS by 40% so if u cnt make it to a Team fight u can ult to reduce the DPS done by the enemy n turn a team fight around, I had Nox Diamond last Season in Ranked, Beat a Merlin, Hades, KA Hera, Isis when she was broken, Kuku. It didn't matter because I knew how to play her n can analyze my opponent play style within the first 30 secs of playing against them. She has great survivability, Great CC A Root that they buffed(Thank god) that if ur hit with CC u still channel...... She is Amazing, The only reason n I mean the only Reason she is not Top tier is because Ur 1,2 Combo is hard to hit, Doesn't mean she no Good. Example of predicting with Nox, Let's say ur in mid lane n u 2 ur opponent(Ur Siphon Darkness aka Bubble).If ur opponent is closet to the left side of the bubble, U would throw ur 1 near the outside because that is where they are gonna go because it the fastest way out. At low ranks 9-10 this will work because they players just wanna get out. As You go up higher to Diamond n Master, Players have knowledge of how long the bubble last, N will possible back step or go the opposite side. This is why most players lose with her because they don't know how to predict or adjust to a opponent that does this. A quick tip is to counter this u wanna get closer or W key them this lowers ur chance of missing especially on Keyboard n mouse on console unless u play claw u can potential still miss because for a fraction of a sec u have to let go of ur analogy to fire the ability. Since this ability(Her 1or shadow lock) has a Small startup u can flick it a Bit but not too much like a Neith 1 where her start up frames is very long n can flick it easy.Nox Kit is very Viable n has Damage reduce, Dmge immunity if she dashes in a team to avoid a ult or abilities(If ur hit by a tit tho u will still take dmge in a teammate) ,A root that can't be silence or CC'd n a huge silence that Shutdown Top tier ults like Thor Dunk, Bastet Pounce n follow up, Odin jump n insta cage, Hunz blink or jump ult combo, Loki gets Absolutely destroyed by Nox so if u having a hard time with Loki, get Nox n call it a day, Serqet blink 2, 1 combo, Susano blink 1, 2, Combo, Rat ult , Thana ult....She is Amazing, Strong n potential the best mage cause she counter just about every god in the Game.. Please guy.... Don't Complain about her, Leave my Baby Alone. #LeaveNoxAlone

I may be one of the few that enjoyed old Nox before the rework, it was great popping it when the enemy Ares ulted effectively shutting down any combo the enemy team wanted to do (and back before welfare relics)

oh my, she is a good mage, not really the best mage but really one of those mage that can change the course of the battle. breaking combos of enemy gods is one of her main good things 'bout her kit, seeing how people say she is broken when there is a fking god that can one-shot u every time he wants and has 4 ultimates as his kit is just dumb and funny hahaha. PD: Miss the old nox taunt xD she is really the sexy mother in smite.

I remember that pre rework nox was used quite a bit in Worlds, her poke potential was very good due to the Siphon's really small cooldown. She was starting to get really good and then they changed her :( I love post rework Nox, but i think pre rework was more original.

Her current kit is ok, but the only thing I have a problem with is her passive. Maybe if they found a different way for her candle to go out. As a nox main I wouldn’t be mad if they reworked some abilities to be a more supportive mage, focused of damage mitigation and damage reduction.

While I don't mind current Nox, I think it would be cool to see Hi-Rez take aspects of her original and current kit, then combine them into a pseudo "dework" to make her more interesting/unique! Personally I'd keep her current passive and the dash on her 3, then bring back the old Nightfall Raven and Siphon Darkness (but definitely keeping Shadow Barrier in reserve for another god). As for the ultimate, I could go either way cause I do love throwing out HADOUKEN'S, but the original (after its buff) sounds really cool and offers a lot more utility as opposed to raw damage so I'd lean towards that. Since I'm no expert on this game I can't say how feasible it would be to balance all this, but I think they could fiddle with the numbers and the CC to make a pretty engaging "new" Nox! I mean they are looking at (kind of) bringing back Rat's multiple acorns so anything's possible!

heres some good ones: Fenrir (his 3 used to count as auto attacks and would crit) Chang'e (crazy damage and healing on release and insanely long stuns w ult combined w never having to back. that and the cooldown on 2 was stupid) Thanatos (the jungle meta on his release had him start in solo lane, with tier 2 boots, red/speed buff and a red pot. his 1 would literally 80% peoples health at level 1 it was ridiculous)

johnny boy saying Nox stands a chance against Thor or Susano is a joke, literally some of the strongest gods against mages right there, the silence can only keep them away from you for so long, also Thor ult will stun, then he spins and procs a Hydra basic attack and you’re dead with no time to react, unless you KNOW the Thor ult is coming you won’t survive at all, or have beads, but hey, Thor and Susano can also get beads, and just run at Nox the second they beads her stupidly predictable combo. Nox is predictable that’s her issue, nothing else about it, it’s so easy to know what a Nox is gonna do it’s almost laughable, don’t even get me started on Odin, you think your combo will kill an Odin in one go? Before he spear stuns and bird bombs you in cage? That’s even worse than saying she can beat Thor AND Susano both of which excel at one combo destroying mages. On an equal playing field with two people equal skill, Nox gets absolutely ruined by top assassins and most warriors just run her down with ease. Just because she can deal with Loki reliably doesn’t mean she can deal with Odin, Susano and Thor, otherwise you would see a LOT more of Nox in casuals AND ranked.

He can't spin if he silence so he ults me I beads use my 2, He would have to prebeads as soon as he lands n then spin in which I can dash out, Since u can't cancel ur spin he miss DPS n Alot of it, He can then stun me but I can aegis his double tap, I still have my ult n my 1 n he has used everything to kill me, If I have a decent team that Thor doesn't make it out alive because He had to commit his beads,His double tap n his stun all to try n kill me. Again I can turn n ult him, he then does 40% less DPS so if he follows me with double tap to auto me it does way less dmge n I can Root him with my 1 to get distance n set him up to die because remember he has to prebeads as soon as he lands to use a ability so he can't beads my 1. Nox Counter team fight Thor ult hard and Susano. Imagine if sus blinks on me n try to pull me, I can ult him because her ult is instant CC Immune, He now does 40% less damage for next 6-8 secs. If he decides to continue to follow me, He can 3 me n teleport to me but I can 2 that so he can't use his 1..Well what if he beads my 2 That fine, I will take his 1 because all his auto and abilities does 40% less dmge so I won't die, He then would have to ult but that's what aegis is for on my part. His is the same as Thor, I would counter him so much that he will have to over commit n put him outta position n he would die. Also Nox easily slaps these 2 in 1v1 but I'm talking about Conquest.

I feel like this is the biggest change that he didn't even mention. When you were laning and hit the enemy god and all of a sudden all the minions turn to hit you and suddenly your passive is gone. Removing the minion damage from ruining your passive is actually a pretty big buff.

I kinda wish they changed her root move to something different that can also help you be able to use her 2 but doesn't 100% guarantee an insta kill on a squishy character if you hit the 1.

Ah man I made Nox Rank 10 before rework.People were surprised how a player can stand to underperfoming god like this until rank 10.But İts my fetish.I like making UP gods viable with every way possible.Same with Ravana in release.İts my curse I guess.Also I liked her old ult with stun more than new ult. quick note :This person didn't mention about Nox taunt change BOOOOOOh!

As another diamond Nox, I agree. After I got her diamond, I promised myself to never play her again after getting her diamond. Her current kit just isn't fun to me as a complete kit. To this day, she is my most hated God to play. She just doesn't feel rewarding when you hit her combo imo. Her ultimate and all parts of her dash are fun to me though.

It's just not a mage that goes around killing things with crazy burst damage. She needs a bit more of effort with aim and juke predictions and she is a utility mage. You match her up with anyone who can finish her kills or peel for her and she's a beast.

Nothing is wrong with Her, She is a skill based mage where you must predict your opponent, What Makes Nox so hard to use is that the higher u go up in ranked, the more unpredictable your opponents become. Her scaling is Good, She has a Sick ult that reduces DPS by 40% so if u cnt make it to a Team fight u can ult to reduce the DPS done by the enemy n turn a team fight around, I had Nox Diamond last Season in Ranked, Beat a Merlin, Hades, KA Hera, Isis when she was broken, Kuku. It didn't matter because I knew how to play her n can analyze my opponent play style within the first 30 secs of playing against them. She has great survivability, Great CC A Root that they buffed(Thank god) that if ur hit with CC u still channel...... She is Amazing, The only reason n I mean the only Reason she is not Top tier is because Ur 1,2 Combo is hard to hit, Doesn't mean she no Good. Example of predicting with Nox, Let's say ur in mid lane n u 2 ur opponent(Ur Siphon Darkness aka Bubble).If ur opponent is closet to the left side of the bubble, U would throw ur 1 near the outside because that is where they are gonna go because it the fastest way out. At low ranks 9-10 this will work because they players just wanna get out. As You go up higher to Diamond n Master, Players have knowledge of how long the bubble last, N will possible back step or go the opposite side. This is why most players lose with her because they don't know how to predict or adjust to a opponent that does this. A quick tip is to counter this u wanna get closer or W key them this lowers ur chance of missing especially on Keyboard n mouse on console unless u play claw u can potential still miss because for a fraction of a sec u have to let go of ur analogy to fire the ability. Since this ability(Her 1or shadow lock) has a Small startup u can flick it a Bit but not too much like a Neith 1 where her start up frames is very long n can flick it easy.Nox Kit is very Viable n has Damage reduce, Dmge immunity if she dashes in a team to avoid a ult or abilities(If ur hit by a tit tho u will still take dmge in a teammate) ,A root that can't be silence or CC'd n a huge silence that Shutdown Top tier ults like Thor Dunk, Bastet Pounce n follow up, Odin jump n insta cage, Hunz blink or jump ult combo, Loki gets Absolutely destroyed by Nox so if u having a hard time with Loki, get Nox n call it a day, Serqet blink 2, 1 combo, Susano blink 1, 2, Combo, Rat ult , Thana ult....She is Amazing, Strong n potential the best mage cause she counter just about every god in the Game.. Current Nox is one of those gods that struggles to be viable in Conquest, but is so overplayed and simplified to the point of disrupting the meta for years on end in other casual modes. Arena Nox is one of the strongest picks in the game, and there's no counterplay to her Siphon combo if they have half the accuracy they ought to with 15 stars on her, or if anyone on her team is capable of landing a single crowd control ability for a guaranteed Siphon. One of the only mages in the game with actual true combos, with very low skill requirement on top.

I think the weakest and most underwhelming god released in smite’s history is Hera. Arges took one hit to kill and Hi-Rez thought her healing autos were goodt; her kit was just didn’t perform. Then Hi-Rez was like. ‘don’t worry she’s good, people just don’t know how to play her yet’.Then received buffs to the point she was broken... 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🧐
