@@Juniperjungbyit’s not exactly awakening pairup since it keeps the fates style deterministic dual strike and dual guard procs but it does draw from awakening in that he can do both while paired up

How did both Takumi arracks were blocked?

A paired up unit (in this case, Soleil) will always block an enemy's follow up attack (attack from another unit, so the second Takumi in this instance). But if you fill the Guard Gauge (those little shields below the health bar, they turn blue when it's full), the paired-up unit will also block the main attack. You fill 2 shields with every attack, so because Ophelia activated Astra (which lets her attack 5 times in a row), she filled up the Guard Gauge, allowing Soleil (the other unit) to block the main Takumi's attack. If she hadn't activated Astra, Soleil wouldn't have blocked the attack and Ophelia would've died if his attack hit. I don't know how much Fates you've played, so I tried to explain it in a way that a new player would understand.
