There are several reasons for weakness of faith. Brother Yusha Evens goes through some common weaknesses among Muslims and talks about its cures.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER -
He was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina in a very conservative Christian home. In his early teens he became heavily involved in the church near his home and in Young Life, a non-denominational youth oriented organization with the intention of becoming involved in the ministry of teaching and preaching. He intended to enroll in Bob Jones University, a world-renowned Bible College in his hometown upon graduating high school, but in the summer of 1996 his life changed. Upon studying the bible from cover to cover and realizing many things were askew, and a lot of what he believed his entire life was not in line with what his research found, he left Christianity and went in search of the truth. After many twist and turns, ups and downs and after looking at the many world religions searching for the tangible proof of the right way of life he encountered a Muslim, and was given a Qur'an. After reading the Qur'an cover to cover he accepted Islam in the winter of 1998.
Yusha (Joshua) Evans Currently works as a full-time lecturer and caller to Islam, as well as teaching workshops that have taken him all across the globe. He is the founder and co-founder of two Islamic television stations in North America as well has appeared on many Islamic stations throughout the world. He has studied under numerous teachers and scholars in the various sciences of Islam and is a Phycology major. He is currently in Minneapolis Minnesota studying under Shaykh Waleed Al-Menesse, one of the worlds foremost Scholars in the Qur'an and its various sciences. He also is a multiple discipline Black belt holder and runs a martial arts academy in Minneapolis

There is no need to convert to Islam. The Qur'an confirms that Muslims, and non muslims are equal and will be judged equally. "Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians -- whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve" (2:62, 5:69, and many other verses). "...and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (5:82). "O you who believe! Be helpers of God -- as Jesus the son of Mary said to the Disciples, 'Who will be my helpers in (the work of) God?' Said the disciples, 'We are God's helpers!' Then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved. But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed" (61:14). So the reason why it's not necessary for me NOT to convert is based on the following: Yeshua said to him, "I AM the way, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME. If you had known ME, you would have known my FATHER too. From now on you know HIM and have Seen (John 14:6) Yeshua, the Messiah (as confirmed in the Qur'an) IS (not was) with HIS Father this very moment. Mohammed is dead. So if I am to be a Muslim (submission to God), then I am a Muslim who follows the Yeshua of the New Testament who taught us how to pray to HIS Father in heaven.

salaam bros, i have alots of bad/dirty wawaasa of Allah SWT Most High and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for many years. Yes, Alhamdulilah i pray 5 times a day, i fast, i do dikhr, i give zakaat, i give sadaqah. These waswasa are just unstoppable and keeps popping up in my brain without any control, have no control over it. These wawaasa are so bad it makes me feel doomed whether will i be forgiven in day of Qiyamah. It made be lost hope, made we feel anxious and with fear. Please dun ask me what kind of wasawasa, which is so bad even i dun want to talk about it. any help???

walaikumsalam brother, I am also suffering from waswasa so many years untill now, but something helps me just when I think that Allah is the most merciful and I do tawakal to ilallah about my jannah or my naar.i do worship Allah becoz I want fulfil Allah right as my Creator, not because I want gather so many rewards from my good deeds.and I do good deeds because I want Allah loves me and redha to me.i am just a dust in the desert and I try to worship Allah not only for finishing my duty but to get close to Allah, n one night I dreamt about syaitans around me then I heard a voice, please read shalawat to rasulullah saw.i hope it can help u also brother, whenever u have waswasa please read shalawat and always admire Allah by doing zikr in your heart wherever you are, whatever you do.May Allah loves you more, amin.

Here are some sunnah of the prophet(SAW) #...When ever the prophet is mentioned say (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) #...Dikir after every prayer/you can also add (wa bihamdi) and reciting *Alatul Kursi after every fard salah *SubahanAllah 33 times *AllahuAkbar 34 times *Amhamdulillah 33time #...While entering home syaing this supplication (Allahumma inni as'aluka khairal mawliji wa khairul makhraji bismillahi wajlana wa bismillahi kjarajna waaalla rabbina tawakkalna) #... While going outside of home saying this supplication (Bismillah tawakkaltu aaalallah wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah) #...When entering your home give salam even if there is no one give salam to your self #...Entering the bathroom with left foot and exiting with right *and covering the head and while relieving yourself sitting is wajib *and when relieving yourself don't face the qibla or your back behind it #...Entering the masjid with right foot and exiting with left and performing wudu at home #...Every muslim you cross by give salam #...Using meswak #...Using fragrence #...Reading Surah Khaf every Friday #...Dusting the bed with an edge of an cloth or bromm #...Eat with your right hand and share your food with the nearest person #... if any food drops of the plate pick it up remove the dust and eat it *after finish eating lick the plate with your fingers and lick your fingers #...Before eating and drinking saying bismillah and after finishing eating and drinking saying Allhamdulillah *if one forgots to say bismillah before eating or drinking say this (bismillahi fi awwalihi wa akhirihi) #... God bless this brother for all of his work. But I have trouble believing he is from the southern Us. I'm an American and he sounds English, or maybe even Australian. Not only because of his accent but his word choice, no one says "petrol" in the US, we say gas...no one knows what "nappies" or " a footie" is...(I know but most Americans don't) and would NEVER use it in speaking or writing...and we also don't say things like "take coffee" we will say drink or get coffee and we don't say things like "straight away" we would say right away. Maybe he's originally from another country and moved to the US, or maybe he originally from US and lived abroad and picked up some of there speech. But southern American he does not sound. Not by a long shot. Especially Alabama..

Speaking logically you believe Newton's theory ''every action has equal and opposite reaction '' which I BELIEVE is applicable materially and Spiritually. materially its seen but spiritually it is not clear enough. A cheater is living comfortably but a honest person is suffering (sometimes) a person who killed ten people is killed back only once, where about the reaction for the other nine he murdered ? So Logically we need Heaven and Hell to give an opposite reaction. Certain thing we cant see but they are true such as radiations, rays etc even JINNS they exist but cant see , similarly Allah has put veil, ''barsak'' by which we can not see azab in grave, hell heaven etc. Man (with a brain about a kilo) can send satellites at a speed of more than 12 km ''per sec'' (in space- unbeleivable) and can still communicate with it at a distance of 10 billion kms, Do You Think The Creator of Man and his compact Brain 'How vast should Allah's Intelligence must be ! the creator of the sun (15 miilion degrees C) can't he create a hell whose fire will be 70 times of this earth's fire ? think , you may try applying your probability formula here. Believing the UNSEEN is the ESSENCE of ISLAM and is the AIM for Man being Created ( Quran 2:3 / 36:11 / 67:12 ). If He see's and worship that does not have value with Allah because All creations except Humans and Jinns see angels and hears torment in grave and are ALL worshipping ALLAH and ALLAH refers to that in Quran like if Allah wanted Man must worship him he can do that by bringing a visible big sign so that all are forced worship ( In My Idea a big meteor hanging on the top of our heads) As in the case of Pharoh of EXODUS ( Musa (as) who at the last moment exclaimed now he beleives in the God of Musa and Harun when the water was coming to engulf him but then angels replied to him THAT"S "'INVALID'.(Quran) Islam is not science or based on science . Caliph Ali (ra) said somthing like this we did 'ma'sah ( rubbing wet hands ) in case we wore leather socks on the top portion ( toes untill ankle) ONLY because we saw Prophet(sal) doing that if I ask my intelligence or conscience I would prefer doing ma'sah the under part of it. ALHAMDULILAH, SCIENCE IS a MERCY of Allah on Humans ( Allah is helping us wordly & spiritually) most of the things in Islam whether is HEALTH (circumcission and other sunnah etc etc) WEALTH (interest is haram while profit sharing is the best strategy, Zakat, the best techniqu to remove poverty) ASTRONOMY ( sun,stars,other planets,big bang theory etc etc) CREATIONS (cytoplasm, plants in pairs) GEOGRAPHY( oceans, mountains,etc )and many more facts of THE QURAN '' CONFORM'S with Modern Science. Science can help us in our Eeman as Quran tells us to ponder over Allah's creation's to understand the SUPERMOST MIGHT of Allah azawajal,subhanwatala. BUT Do Not Take Science as the only aspect to bring Eeman because science is always changing even some modern concepts about health etc etc (was moon landing a fake ? ) but ALLAH' s QURAN is the ''SAME' untill the day of judgement.

Salaamun alaykum. What the brother said concerning being friends with a Christian - and indicating that that's not forbidden, then this is wrong. The scholars have stated that it's not permissible for Muslims to take the people of disbelief as close friends. This is because its part of our religion to have love and hate for the sake of Allah. We can be good to them and treat them well and justly, but it's not for Muslims to take them as near friends as they are rejecting Allah and the messenger, sallahu alayhi wa sallam. May Allah bless you all. This is also part of the creed of walaa and baraa (love and hatred for the sake of Allah). Muslims love those who pleases Allah and obeys Him and hate in their hearts the people of disbelief and sins. By this I don't mean that we can't treat them well of be nice to them. We might love some of them naturally (moms, sons, daughters and so) but that should be combined with the hate for their disbelief and sins. A person can therefore be loved for one thing (being a relative) and hated for another thing (disbelief and sins). This is the state of the heart. But a Muslim can treat them nicely and good and go into permissible interactions with them. May Allah shower his mercy upon you.
