Hey look! I found drums. All jokes aside, I took some extra time to really focus on the quality of this video in order to set a new standard for my future content. What i would like to do going forward is create even more instrumental covers of newly released songs (like this video) for a couple of reasons: 1) When making these covers, i'd like to provide a different version of the song i'm recreating (that being an instrumental rendition), instead of reposting the same song with louder guitars, thus giving the fans a reason to return to the video for an experience thay wouldn't quite get from the original; 2) By excluding the original audio track, I am hoping to more frequently avoid content ID detection, so that if I ever reach the requirements for monetization, I would be able to at least receive some revenue for the work I put into making these videos. 3) I would like to mainly focus on new music because, not only do I want to capitalize on the attention around new releases, but I'd also like to cover fresh albums in their entirety, after which I plan on posting an in-depth review of said records. I hope to make my first review on Wake Up Sunshine by All Time Low, shortly after I finish covering it, so stay tuned for that. I know all this seems a bit ambitious, especially for me, since I already have a tough time balancing my free time, work and KZbin, but I'm constantly working on improving and speeding up my work process, so production should gradually speed up. Now I just need to find some more motivation. I'm also quite unsure whether I should keep posting accurate covers or make creative changes to provide an even more unique listening experience, because i'm unaware of how many people actually use my tabs to learn these songs, and how many just want to watch the video. If you've read this far, I would REALLY apreciate your opinion, especially if you've subscribed and followed the channel for quite some time. - What do you think of my future plans? - Would you watch this kind of content, and do you think it has potential in the future? - Should i return to regular guitar covers like my folie a deux videos, or should i focus more on full covers like the few i've posted over the years? - Do you use the tabs I make? I would ask these questions in a poll, but apparently i'm not cool enough to make community posts, so I have to look for advice here. Once again, any kind of response would be greatly appreciated.
